I said it over and over again. He keeps slicing his kicks! Is anyone coaching this team?

Rousseau unfortunately did not have the breakout season that I expected him to have this year. He is possibly the best run stopping DE in the league and has been since his rookie season, but his pass rushing has not developed. 6.0 sacks in 18 games played is not what you hope for from a 1st rounder in his 3rd season.
I saw a stat that tonight was the first game since 2021 that Oliver had 0 pressures. The Chiefs have the best IOL in the league so this was somewhat expected. We needed our edge rushers to make an impact and it just didn't happen.
The chiefs got the best oline in the league and the besr defense and what do we have exactly?
Josh. Thats it. Mcdermott/bean are frauds

Very glad to hear that Norwood 2.0 has a contract that makes him essentially uncuttable. Awesome news!
Because its so smart to give contracts to punters like that....

Nothing McD could do any different, to many injuries at the wrong time on the defense. He was very aggressive on offense and our kicker has went to hell in the last month
He has suckdd all season its not really a new development should have been handled before now
1 hour ago, Nitro said:I usually agree with your post game analysis. Injuries gutted the middle of the defense. Mental mistakes were by the players. Lack of practice time may have contributed to that. The defense played well since the first KC game. Reid had more time to plan to attack the Bills. Better prepared team won.
Blah blah blah excuses another wasted season

Forgive me for thinking our luck had changed when:
1. Josh didn't get called for a forward lateral (RIP Frank Wychek)
2. KC fumbles through the end zone
3. Refs get both of the aforementioned right.
Then - wide right.
The football gods were just !@#$ with us.
Bass has been bad all season tho... it wasnt a shocker
-
It wasnt a terrible performance and that helps but at the same time we also expected this team to not even make the playoffs at 6-6 so in a way it felt like we over achieved.
Still, McDermott ball sucks.

That part isn't on McD.
But what about the defence?
Only reason there wasn't 40 plus points against his defence was because the bills offence controlled the clock.
It IS on Mcdermott though... tbass has been terrible alllllll seassssoonnnnn why did we pay this guy so much money and why oh why didnt we can him snd hire a guy off the street mid season?

He was the reason we were losing after 3 Quarters. He was absolutely the best player on the field in the 4th and took over the game.
Why some of us get on him is if he could just cut out the dumb ***** he would be utterly and totally unplayable. And the mistakes are for the most part totally avoidable.

Hasn't stopped us.
might not be in the playoffs at all if we didn't get them to fire dorsey.

That… yeah. And a whole lot of cheating and bending every rule in the book. Of course, having a few refs in your back pocket don’t hurt either. But yeah, just a great coach.
I mean if you aint tryin to cheat you aint tryin to win=p

It's the same guy representing her from the beginning and he's likely been working on contingency, while the civil trial is rapidly approaching, so it's not a money issue. And if she thinks she has a good case, she'd see it through. No they realize they will lose both civil suits and weren't able to scare him into a settlement. And she likely has little money for him to recover anyway.
Is it not possible they simply came to an agreement outside of the courts and withdrew the cases?

I’m actually not happy as I wanted him to suffer year in and out in mediocrity. 7-10 to 8-9 each and every year to ensure it cements it was always Brady, not the 3D chess crap.
A great QB is of course required but a great Coach is also required if you are going to win as much as they did. Right now he could be the greatest coach in all of football but a mac jones led team aint getting it done.
For the 'dynasty' type stuff you need both, great QB and coach. For a flash-in-the-pan Superbowl you probably just need 1 or the other.- 3

Tyler dunne said everything that needed to be said about Mcdermott. What a lot of players themselves have probably been thinking but couldnt speak it.
Was it a hit piece? Yes. Did it go too far in attacking McDs character as a person? Yes. Was it necessary? I think so yes.
First of all, it let mcdermott read/hear about his shortcomings -- it WILL make him self reflect. Some of the stuff may have been outlandish but a lot of it was quiet salient.
Second, it probably relieved some players from feeling like its been their fault (Josh Allen, McD has low key been sliding a lot of blame his way durring pressers). I know josh allen probably agree with at least half of what he read in the article. But now he doesnt have to say it. Tyler dunne did. McDermott can reflect on it now.
Third, it bring team together as they will rally behind their coach -- and hopefully their coach will take SOME THINGS from the article to heart and, in turn, be better for his players moving forward.
To be honest i saw it on Sunday. McD was a little more aggressive and had a little more faith in his QB. I hope that trend continues for Sean.

Bills have a remarkably good chance of catching dolphins now that dolphins lost to tenneessee.
We just need MIA to lose only 1 of DAL/BAL matchups which seems highly likely.
Then of course we need to win our DAL matchup.
If we lose our DAL matchup we would need MIA to drop both of those games which is still a possibility.
If bills only lose 1 more game we have a > 60% chance to make playoffs, regardless of division.

A lot of people saying that, but I'm having a difficult time envisioning that.
What's the general fan sentiment in the New England market?
If that's in peak "get rid of him" form I can see that.
Seems hard to imagine they let bill go on the precipice of a #1 overall pick. At the same time, it's sort of the best-time to 'reset' so the new coach can build with a new QB.
I just feel like Bill hasnt' been given a fair shake since Brady left because they literally have mac jones at the helm. -
If hindsight is 20/20 this coach needs a magnifying glass because he never learns a damn thing

I hear what you're saying. There are two consequences to that.
1. You're making it much more difficult to win a Super Bowl, if that's true. It's really difficult to win with a QB whose engagement ends where you say it does with Josh, because when you get to the playoffs, you're going to be playing guys like Mahomes, Burrow, Tua, Purdy, and Hurts, each of whom is all-in.
2. Then you really have to decide who goes - Allen or McDermott, because McDermott needs the Allen I described. If he's not going to get that from Josh, then then McDermott needs a new QB. McDermott needs a QB who is a true leader, and you're telling me Josh won't ever be that. If you're not willing to part with McDermott, then Josh has to go.
By the way, I don't agree with your assessment. I've been saying for years that Josh is John Elway, and Elway played way into his career before he became the leader he needed to be. McDermott is about being a life-long learner, continuous improvement, etc. He pitches that mantra to everyone, including Josh, and I think Josh will work this out.
And, by the way, it seems pretty clear now that although he wasn't the only problem, the failures this season rest largely on Dorsey. (And, if you want to blame McDermott for hiring and keeping Dorsey, I'm not arguing much.)
What the heck are you talking about? I'll have what he is having.... there is absolutely zero, and I mean this with all sincerity, ZERO PERCENT chance that this team 'moves on' from Josh Allen in order to keep McDermott.

I’m not opposed to firing McD. I’m just worried more about Pegula replacing him with someone better
Why worry? It's honestly hard to imagine it could be worse with Josh Allen on the team than 6-6 Like even if the coach is just an average Mularkey or Juron or Gailey type those coaches mustered .500 seasons and didn't have a QB like josh allen.
Not saying we'll finish .500 but lets face it we are a .500 team right now and its primarily mcdermotts fault considering josh allen has handed us a lead no less than 3 times in under 2 minutes and I believe he has handed us the lead 'late' more than that even, and McDermott flubs it every time with the worst defensive play calling we've seen in our collective lives. -
The issue with this response as others have already stated is that he keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again. If I have to watch his soft conservative defense play 10 yards off the receivers to the ruin of another josh epic performance I may just stop watching the games all together.

If it's true that the definition of insanity is to repeat the same behavior over and over and expect a different outcome, then our coach is insane.
