87% of this board wanted Peterman to start and are mad he sucked and Taylor won this game. Bills could be 7-4 but this board got what it wanted.

2 yards a carry but Tyrod is the problem this week

if McD had known ahead of time that Peterman would throw up all over himself in his first start, then started him anyways, that would have been a bad decision.
McD couldnt have known that, Peterman has been a solid player all through his college career, beating future NFL talent. Tyrod has been bad. the team was actually winning despite Tyrods play.
did it blow up in McDs face? sure, but he had seen enough of his veteran starter...... i cant fault McD for trying.
I can. Chargers said they saw it all in preseason and gameplanned from that. Peterman can't handle pressure. And he threw 5 INTs in a half.
Imagine if the Bills miss out on the playoffs by 1 game. McD literally will have caused the drought to continue.

If not throwing picks is all that matters, just don't throw the ball. Silly, reductionist argument. It's excellent that we beat a struggling team on the road. Doesn't validate TT as anything more than the most adequate qb currently on the roster. Most folks have figured this out.
1% of his throws are INTs this year. You're wrong to say that doesnt matter. Petermans is 21% lol

Nobody is harping on it, but to assume the O'leary pass was his only fault of the day is being very dishonest.
Zero players have no faults in a game. Where are the McCoy sucks threads?

Where are the threads about McCoy averaging 2 yards a carry?
-
The pass wasn't so low that O'Leary had to go to the ground. He thought there was guy going to hit him. Hence when he never rilled or got up after the catch.
That is just as much on O'Leary.
Also, hey remember the holding call right before that? It was actually a +4 yard gain

Oh I agree but this game would be in the win column already if Tyrod makes that pass. He won't lose us the game but he won't win it for us
Counterpoint: if they weren't offsides on 3rd and forever, Chiefs would have never scored a TD.

That was a called run. Please learn how to watch football.

Why didn't Alex Smith lead his WR perfectly?

And just like that, the Chiefs are within 3.
After a half where the defense crushed the Chiefs, the offense with their typical lack of urgency or killer instinct, did practically nothing with the many drives they were gifted & great starting field position.Lol blame the offense for the crappy defense. Great contribution.

He’s on ballot 3. It’s disgusting that he isn’t in. Not to be that guy or anything but TO is historically a greater player than Thurman. They put Harrison in, who is a worse player and shot a guy.
Um what? Owens never led the league in receptions or yards. Thurman did it 4 years in a row, which no one has done. And he was league MVP one year.
It was a joke Thurman had to wait a year and Jim Kelly was a 1st balloter. Thurman was a way better RB than Kelly was QB

There are an equal amount of examples of why you shouldn't stick with a coach. Not really sure the point of this.

It is horrid and it's the main reason we put a 5th year rookie in to start vs the Chargers.
So we should bench McD as coach then right?
Btw, offense ranks better than the defense.

with a +14 turnover differential. You do realize not throwing 5 INTs helps that number right?

I love reading all these comments from posters who were clamoring for Peterman. Yeah, let's keep listening to what you all have to say.
Get me a better qb than Taylor. Do it. But he is about average in this league and was top 10 in QBR the last two seasons and covered up a lot deficiencies on this team while also not being able to hold the entire team on his shoulders. It takes coaching to win with that.
Except coaching (and Bills fans) got that Peterman game. So both were terrible. Worse than Taylor has ever been.

Not if you've been paying attention to this team in recent years...
Then it was over before the season started in that case

The idea the season was over after a TNF game against a divisional foe is ridiculous

I think the opposite, he was overly criticized. He had bad RBs and a defense that never helped out. He played for playoff teams his downside is he wasn't Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers good
QB wouldn't have made the difference, at least Peterman took chances.
Translation: At least Peterman lost the game with terrible plays.
Are these serious posts?

This game, as awful as Peterman was, doesn't excuse Tyrod's poor play.
It doesn't magically make Taylor a good QB. He's still the guy who threw for 56 yards last week, still the guy who holds on to the ball far too long and still the guy averaging 187 yards/game in 2017.
Maybe it shows how bad the offense is regardless of qb, eh? Taylor was like a thousand times better than Peterman. You play the best players.
Huge coaching blunder. Sometimes you buy a house....

The media and some posters have ignored one fact. We got crushed last week, and we got crushed again this week. This team just isn’t good enough.
One team is the best in the NFC, one has a losing record in the bad AFC...

The difference is that Dak has actually shown he can be a good QB in this league. And it's not like the last 2 opponents of theirs were some garbage teams either. Dak gets the benefit of having proven some stuff in the league already to have a few bad starts
Yeah, Tyrod had the team 7th in points before benching last year so...
(Sarcasm) Tyrod's worst play.

He took 2 sacks all game! Behond that terrible line! At least 1 of the sacks were on 3rd down so throwing it away would have been a punt anyways.
What are you rambling about?
