Yeah, it's a shame they killed late night comedy over the last 20 years.
Edit: Actually, it's a shame they killed comedy ENTIRELY over the last 20 years, in all formats. When was the last time Hollywood produced a great comedy? I couldn't say. That last great network TV comedy premiered more than 25 years ago. On late night TV its obviously politics, but across all mediums it's a combination of that plus the dumbing down of everything plus the PC policing of comedy in all forms.
When mediocre SNL alums like Amy Poehler are considered front line television humor, you know it's as bad as it can get.
PC and comedy do not mix. Jerry Seinfeld won't even do shows on college campuses.

Hiding in the cave huh?
TV has never been better than it is right now, but you have to know what to watch.
Good movies are much harder to find; we usually get 3 or 4 very good ones per year.
Tons of great music out there too, but it's not being played on your Top 40 Hits radio station. You have to work a little harder than that.
I agree that there is a lot of great new music coming out regularly but you have to look for it. I listen to indie rock radio and when I hear a song I like, I write down a lyric, google it along with the word "lyrics" to find out the name of the song and artist. Then I check out other songs from the same artist on youtube. Sometimes I just search "best indie songs of 2017, 2018..." on youtube.

I used to watch late night talk every night when it was Leno and Letterman. Never watch now. Too political. Now the only TV I watch is news and sports. I have no interest in popular music of today but there is a lot of great current indie rock music that I find on indie rock radio and listen to on youtube. I see about 30 news movies a year. Half in the theater and the others on dvd.

I see every Tim Burton movie so I will see Dumbo in the theater. Captain Marvel too.

I'm surprised they haven't remade "Jaws" as the same movie except replaced the mechanical shark with a CGI shark. A lot of fans of the original would probably hate them doing that but I think it would still make a ton of money at the box office.

A movie review show like "Siskel and Ebert." They are both gone but I'd like to see another show like that with the same format and two reviewers that work good together like they did.

Live in Orlando so there’s technically no local team but the Jags and Bucs are televised as local and the Fish get a lot of local TV airtime. I can’t stand either of the two AFC teams and I’m indifferent on the Bucs. I’ll keep up with them a little because I have friends that are fans but I’m a Bills fan and I don’t root for anyone else except whoever is playing the Pats, Jets, Dolfins and Cowboys.
I live in Palm Bay Fl and that's pretty much how I feel about the 3 Florida teams.

Melatonin works for me. 5 mg 20 minutes before bed and I sleep like a baby. Tylenol PM’s always made me feel goofy the next day.
I take 10mg of Melatonin about 45min before bed and it works great.
