  1. The Bills are always ranked very high on defense. What they do in the regular season "works" because you're not playing top offenses every week while putting out (even with their struggles) a top offense. You don't "give" them anything, and make them work for everything. It kind of works for the regular season racking up wins.

When you play Mahomes and Burrow in the playoffs, they carve you up taking what you give them.

You can't totally stop those guys. But you do need to get a stop sometimes. That's the biggest failing IMO.

  2. Josh Allen's 2020 season is up there.

    69.2% completion% (up from 58.8)

4544 yds passing (up from 3089)

7.9 yd avg (up from 6.7)

37 TD passes (up from 20)

Only 10 interceptions in 572 attempts

QB rating 107.2 (up from 85.3)

    421 yds rushing, 8 rushing TD's.

It may not be above Dom and Bruce's best years, but it's the biggest jump in one season from "meh" to "superstar" I've ever seen.

  3. Bob Woods for low money could be a good way to solidify the slot with Shakir.  Draft a true outside receiver (or 2) early in the draft. If Woods is back to 100% he gives you versatility to play inside or outside. Mahomes did it with Kelsey and a handful of JAG's. Lil' Dirty has to go because Hines will probably be there for returns, gadget plays and RB 2/3. I'm not pounding the table for Woods, but let's not pretend if he passes the medicals that he brings nothing to the table. If someone wants to give him 6M-8M then wish him well, and buh-bye.

Crap. I was really hoping Buffalo would hire Wilks to replace Frazier.

He was the guy McDermott originally wanted to be his DC when he was first hired but Carolina promoted him to keep him.

The report says they asked permission to talk to him. They didn't hire him. But if Sean asks for permission to talk to him he needs a backup plan, because Frazier would be gone.

I think McD and Frazier are good enough coaches to fix the defense. It's the philosophy that needs to change. 2 years of getting torched in the playoffs has to be a wake up call to address this. If not, it doesn't matter who the coordinator is if Sean wants this type of defense.

  5. Jones would be nuts not to take something like a 2 year $50 M deal to stay with Daboll.

It's his best chance to become a real franchise QB and then hit the open market young enough to get the huge contract. Someone might give it to him now. But his odds of having a great career would be a lot lower. Maybe SanFran? Who else needs a QB with a great coach?

So at this point the only coaching change is a safeties coach that held his position together with tape and glue. Is it about accountability or familiarity for the Bills. The same can be said with our scouts missing on draft picks. Our Defense was reliant on the offense scoring which put other teams in catch up mode. We cannot survive with an offense that needed josh to scramble or throw 50 yard bombs twice a game. Thoughts?

I hold Beane and McDermott personally responsible for what we have seen here!!!!!

Taking a totally irrelevant franchise for nearly two decades to the playoffs 5 out of 6 years, and legit super bowl contenders for the last 3.

    HEADS MUST ROLL!!!!!

They need to build the offensive line, run the ball more and scheme better. That’s the problem with the Bills offense. Daboll had zero problems working with these weapons. They added Hynes and couldn’t even figure out a way to get him involved in the offense. That’s a coaching problem

Also drafted a pass catching back and didn't use him in the passing game.

I get where you’re coming from but we had problems today that we’ve had for a while.  Problems that will be exploited by the really good teams left.

KC lost to the Colts. They barely beat the Bronco's twice, and nearly lost to the Texans. None of the teams we may face are measurably better than us. Each game is a self contained unit.

The turnovers are a huge problem obviously. Sometimes you can overcome them. Other times...
