Anything can be improved with practice. From kicking fgs, hitting golf balls, hitting baseballs, etc to a point where its maximized. Allen isnt there yet, hes nowhere near the wart thats being portrayed by the group that paimts the bulletriddled argument. He can improve and already has. If you cant see that then maybe find a different sport to partake, or practice on understanding what you are seeing.

Nothing. But there are still some head scratching errant throws that need to be minimized. I don't expect them to be eliminated because precision passing is not his thing and he's elite in terms of arm strength and mobility. Better supporting cast will certainly help, but he's also got to cut down on the mistakes. Hopefully that comes with confidence/comfort at this level. This past performance was encouraging.
Then we're gonna need to alter our offense and Josh is going to have to work on touch.
We win that game if the guy who gets paid to be a professional pass catcher whom the ball hits bith hands who is also on our special teams hands teams for onsides kicks catches the ball. We dont have to change anything except for execution of the game.

Every single QB is going to have the same variables as far as throwing the ball away, etc. Completion pctg is a pretty good metric for determining accuracy for an NFL QB.
What is so controversial about saying he needs to become a more efficient passer?
Thats simply incorrect. I guarantee Brady and Goff throw the ball away less than other qbs. Have you watched any other game than the Bills? Every rb in new englands offense usually turns around 3 yards from the line of scrimmage looking for the ball. Thats a staple of the Patriots offense. Touchdown to checkdown.

This is a bad thread not the worse of the week, but maybe the worst of the day.

Only issue I have is none of these runs are designed.
They are not part of Dabols Offense. So on these runs...The Bills are not executing the offfense game plan.
either Allen can’t see the field or is refusing to throw or other areas are failing.
every time he runs...the play has failed. He’s had over 200 rushing yards in 2 weeks. That’s ALOT of broken/failed plays.
Thats not true empty back field qb draw is in his gameplan, the coach and oc has said so. Granted not all of them are qb draws, however if a lane is open and your wrs are locked up get yards and get down. It slows the pass rush and opens other players up.

It hit him in the hands. Where else should he have located it?
Im guessing they expect Allen to fire a laser so hard that it sticks in the face mask....

The pass was NOT bad.....he was scrambling for his life threw the ball over his body to a completely uncovered TE who all he had to do was center field the catch......
Was it a laser like the rest of his passes? No.....was it a spectacular throw...no....but it was NOT a bad pass
The guy is acting likes it was some banana disk floating on sides kick or something with 11 defenders blating down on him. Oh thats right Clay is also on the hands team too. Clay ahould have caught that ball.

Either you have confidence in your Offense or you don't. The Bills & McD have an obsession that if the Bills don't build a 21 point lead in the first 20 minutes, then play for a 3 point game. This is his Modus Operandi.
No its not. Its literally the very first time hes been faced with that scenario today. Hes not a perfect coach but thats not on him today.

No it was lousy game management. With the Dolphins sniffing around the goal, you try and keep time on the clock as you have to have confidence that your offense can get at least 3 points.
Add to that the lousy challenge casting another time out and time to get a quick 5 yard out and have a 50 yard attempt is what teams work on.
No it wasnt, we had 117 total yards in the first half, 7 offensive penalties, a touchdown reversed, and a muffed catch, a missed extra point, and an ivory fumble in the first half with the ball at the 10 yard line with 40 seconds to go. You are completely wrong and benefit from hindsight. There was nothing wrong with the end of the half other than the late playcalling by the oc. Cmon you cant be serious. At least i hope not.
-
This is an ll around bad thread. Too much hindsight. There is literally no way any of you questioning the end of the first half decisions by Sean thought the team would make it to the 40 considering the first half. Too many penalties and struggling to move the ball. Alot of the last call there was on the OC; numerous times theough the game Josh is looking to the sidelines motioning that the call needs to come in quicker. This game isnt on the HC.
-
They should be mad hughes was held multiple times as Josh was hit in the head in the pocket twice not outside of the pocket as a runner. Josh was also hit in the knee in the pocket on a throw. Kyle williams literally smelled a guards fingers as it looked like both if the guards hands were in his nose and mouth.

Beginning of the year he would have lasered those throws. The last throw was the clincher.
He thre across his body after putting 100+ rushing yards. Is he allowed to be slightly fatigued. His arm is fine.

Wide open, i could have made that catch. Thats what happens when you dont want to get your knees fixed and get out of practices for months; you forget how to catch a football. Please Buffalo find a tight end to replace Clay next year.

The Saints dynamic running game wanted no parts of Vander Eshe
Another unnecessary trade up from Beane ?
Yeah lets discount the whole they have Smith on their team to; the orher instinctual freak of nature. The answer is no.

What? There is no need. We drafted and have filled the whole with free agents. In no way shape or form do we need that distrqction back in buffalo.
-
It looks as if they have changed the oline blocking scheme, along with forcing certain runs in certain directions. The run game needs some work.

Cant be Patrick Mahomes owns every passing record...

Something similar was said about the bills vs vikings. The league outcome is unpredictable if it were there would be extremely wealthy gamblers and vegas woulndt allow betting. Its un uphill climb no doubt but not impossible. Sean and Brandon dont have the word cant in their vocabulary.
I remember. Boy some hot takes!

Its a wrinkle thats good to have when you need a spark; however, he has had quite the number of injuries.

I would rather bring Jerome Felton back than have Kelly on the team.
