Mildly optimistic that we make the playoffs this year; extremely optimistic that we make the playoffs next year & many years to follow. That's about the most optimistic I've felt about this team since the drought began.
Pretty much my thinking here. There is light at the end of the tunnel my friends.

if your supporting the non drafting of QB's in the first 3 rounds and trading out of the 10 spot to let the Chiefs grab Mahomes. Then yes you are supporting this loser thinking and you infact
become part of it and become a loser in a football supporting sense. I'm not calling anyone a loser in life just in your support for this way of thinking. If you think other wise your badly mistaken
we have a QB that has been shown to make plays. It simply was not viable to spend a 1st or 2nd on one of this year's QBs because they all had major question marks (yes, though I loved Mahomes, he had some issues). The FO is saving their chips to spend on next year's class, which is looking to have 5-6 great options.

Yes it's sad that I'm right and your wrong. Keep trying snow flake
If Mahomes is great (I think hes gonna be pretty good) then good for the Chiefs. As a Bills fan, I will support all our QBs, including Tyrod and Peterman.
Also you never mentioned what KIND of trick video it had to be, whether it was asked to be done or not.

Here's Mahomes trick shot video.

Could we have a QUARTERBACK CONTROVERSY®??
Obligatory video of QB Nathan Peterman drop-back and throw:

@SalSports: Things that really don't matter but I feel I should tweet: Josh Woodrum got 1st rep at QB. Peterman 2nd.

which one is your money on?
Gut says this works somehow. Brain says "take a Tums."
-
Well, if this works, the Bills have a young coach AND gm working in harmony for the next couple decades.
If not..we merely reset. Again.

Your lack of protest for all of the other bars on the weirdo lists speaks volumes about the introspection you require on the Payday.
Butterfinger - these are delicious. Crunchy peanut butter and chocolate are a fine, manly combination,
Heath - I can't defend this. Who the hell likes toffee?
PayDay- see previous statement
5th Avenue- never had one of these
Krackel - like you guys said, Crunch knock off. I dont like crunchy rice anyways.
Mr. Goodbar- these are damn good and I vote they are moved to the regular bars section.
Mars- do these exist? I have never seen one in real life
Zero- feminine candy bar
Zagnut- the hell is a "Zagnut"
Toblerone- feminine candy bar. It has honey in it.
Clark- i think superman when I see one of these so I motion it gets moved to manly.
Do nutty buddies qualify as candybars? Cuz those things are badass
that gets into a grey area, along with those delicious cosmic brownie things. Might be a thread in itself.

I protest Payday being for "weirdos." Peanuts and caramel are very manly.
-
Almond joy too
-
I try not to get too carried away with these "special" UDFA's (remember Justin Zimmer/Eric Striker from last year?) but this looks pretty promising.
-
Love me a Butterfinger, but I have to give my nod to the Payday. Salty and sweet deliciousness.
The Payday bar is a pretty solid, yet lesser appreciated candy bar. Maybe cuz it's not coated in chocolate like the rest of them
I'm glad others out there appreciate the simple excellence of a payday bar.

When is the ride?
June 24th at UB north.

One day love will find youuuuu....break those chains unbind youuuuuu

should have gotten the Deluxe version...comes with complementary dental school.

Exactly!! Marv let his coaches coach, and let Polian, Butler scout and bring in the Players. Marv wasn't power hungry and demanding full control. This is what happens when you dont have a president of football operations.
Where has McDerminator said that he "demands full control?"
-
Well he red-shirted a year at Tennessee. Then played as a sophomore. Then two years at Pitt.
So, right, 2+2=3.
Doublethink, comrade.

Here's the thing about the captain checkdown argument, I don't believe it to be accurate prior the hit. I'll try and do some analysis later, but this Trent Edward's highlight video was posted Oct 2008, which is right around the time of that Cards game I believe. I know highlights are hand picked, but these are anticipation throws on time and on target into tight windows, with the poise to let a play develop knowing there is a hit coming.
That is not the same player who turned into Captain Checkdownl. Also, Edwards and Peterman both do the same leg lift it looks like.
Geez, name one of those receivers besides Evans. Wow.

I watched the full game against Clemson. The Youtube with every pass play back to back to back. His best game ever. He threw over a dozen absolutely terrible balls. So many.
because every QB is perfect.

I would like to know what the best authentic mexican place is, in you guys' opinion. La Tolteca on Transit in Amherst is pretty good. I like Deep South Taco too, but I am not sure how "authentic" that is.
-
We are full up on QBs now. He wasn't very good anyways, unless we trade Yates for him or something
-
I heard on NFLN draft coverage, and again from someone on here, that if anyone recently had a chance to be the next Montana or Brady, it was Nate Peterman. Whether that actually happens or not is anyone's guess. He has the brains, the student-of-the-game mentality, and the ability to go through reads and progressions quickly and smartly. And he has this already before taking his first NFL practice snap.
He might be a bust, he might be a career back-up. But for the purposes of this poll and thread, he just might be the next GOAT. We'll see, and that might be fun to watch.
Totally agreed. I think, at worst, he can be Alex Smith. And wouldn't half the Bills fans out there take an Alex Smith?
-
Does anyone take JLC seriously anymore? His latest "report" is blatently against anything reported earlier.
-
Arby's has gotten a lot better lately. Their gyros are damn tasty.
Not a bad price either
Ohhh, I could do Arby's right now. I could even do Taco Bell. This is a mini-crisis!
The only thing I touch from Taco Bell is the Doritos Taco. Otherwise I am a Mighty guy
What if Peterman is better than Mahomes??

Quote me on this. I think Luke Falk is gonna be great. Hes got the size, hes a pocket passer, and hes staying at Washington State one more year to keep working on his skills, even though he could have come out this year. If he keeps things up, he could be a top-five all time college passer.
Also you can't bash Sal as a "propaganda" carrier for the Bills; I think he does a great job covering all the facts. Someone like Chris Brown is the water carrier. Not Sal.
Its reasonable to assume that we will be taking a QB next year, based off of Beane's and McD's statements on how you have to throw the ball as much as run it.
Maybe we need a bottom-3 finish once and for all to get our man and look to the future. I am not advocating for this, however.
