Trust the process. Beane has a long track record of bringing in elite WRs like Kelvin Benjamin, Terrelle Pryor, Tavon Austin, Marquez Stevenson, Ray-Ray McCloud, Brandon Powell, Justin Shorter, and Austin Proehl.

Beane also has a long track record of bringing in elite defensive talent like Ed Oliver, Kaiir Elam, Boogie Basham, AJ Epeneza, Gregory Rousseau, etc who cant even sack or Int Mahomes once in the playoffs.

    Trust the process.

You cannot call late season/practice squad flyers on guys like Tavon Austin a knock on Beane. Come on dude.

The stupid thing about this conversation is we could have just taken say Adonai Mitchell at #28. And then the Chiefs would have taken Worthy at #32 anyways.

Whereas with the move we actually made we could take Mitchell at #33 while picking up an extra 3rd and a favorable day three swap. But because it "looks" worse fans are less happy about that scenario than the objectively worse first scenario.

It’s more that you allowed your hated conference rival and defending champion to get THEIR guy.

    I’ll just say this,

I was more impressed with McConkey running with the ball in his hands than Worthy when I watched them

mcConkey also looks like the more natural catcher

worthy has more experience with the route tree and Is is fast in a straight line

I didn’t realize how a lot of Worthy’s advanced stats were complete asscheeks. Still hate to loose sheer raw talent like that though

Worthy 6/23 on deep balls.  5/21 on contested catches.  He’s not that good of a deep ball guy.

He fits KC short throw attack where they lead the league in throws near or behind the LOS which Worthy had 21% of his targets be screens and 40% of snaps in the slot.

Worthy was always a terrible fit in Buffalo

Fine but you have the best offensive mind in football working with him
