I have to imagine that he could NOT be any worse then Klein. And to make a small note - it's not like Klein is a bad player - his football IQ is actually really high - but he's an example of a player that is literally JUST too slow (i'm not even talking by a lot either). He's always a half to one step behind. It's so hard to be upset every time I see him just short of being in the right position, or a step too slow to make the play.
this is spot on. smart player who is actually playing the game right just a half step too slow or when he is in position doesnt have the athletic ability or strength to make the play

Need to win Sunday. Don’t see us winning either of the next 2 after NE
i actually like our chances vs seattle. THey have a terrible defense we can absolutely put up points on them especially if brown is truly healthy

its pretty simple weve lost players to retirement/free agency/opt out and replaced them with players that simply arent good
-
if they could trade a 2nd for williams they would do it im sure. he would allow oliver to play the 3 and work off of him.

a bills and 49ers win this weekend would be massive. would give us some wiggle room if we lose to the patriots the following week.

Well the flip side of that coin is you don't get two, and need a td and extra point just to tie, not to win.
It was the right call to go for 1. Get a stop, score a Td, and take the lead.
I'm fine with the decision.
agreed for when we are playing any team other than the chiefs.

Things seem under control in NY, especially WNY, but with Florida, Texas, Arizona and California looking as bad as ever I worry that there isn't going to be a season at all.
I can't see how it happens, but if it is even 1% possible, the NFL will find a way to make it happen.
when you say things are as bad as ever do you just mean healthy people testing postive? because thats all thats happening in these places. not even close to what happened in NYC

Per NFL.com
Need to call off the 2020 season imo. You can't socially distance in a team sport like football. Its inevitable that players will continue to test positive.
people will continue to test positive and be fine. with no vaccine positive tests could continue forever. You want to just keep all sports an everything closed until a vaccine? insanity.
-
check stub hub but probably best to wait until closer to the game incase they do limit crowd caacity
-
the league would sooner play games with no fans than do "social distancing" in the crowd.
-
too bad i think they had something there

im very happy that beane was able to get diggs. Sanders wouldve been fine but we would still be looking for a number 1 wr.

Get clowney on a 1 year 14-15 million deal. no interest in keeping him after that but would allow for that 2nd round pick to be a CB or offensive playmaker.

2 year window here where we have a QB on a cheap deal. Its important that we make a serious run at the superbowl now.

I have no idea how it would ever be a safety.
It's either a TD or touchback.
because its technically an illegal forward pass in the endzone I think which is why it would be considered a safety

When a fumble goes out of bounds in the end zone, the following shall apply:
- If a ball is fumbled in the field of play, and goes forward into the opponent’s end zone and over the end line or sideline, a touchback is awarded to the defensive team; or
- If a ball is fumbled in a team’s own end zone or in the field of play and goes out of bounds in the end zone, it is a safety, if that team provided the impetus that sent the ball into the end zone (See 11-5-1 for exception for momentum). If the impetus was provided by the opponent, it is a touchback.
so by rule it should have been a safety. we still should have won the game but those extra 2 points and the ball could have ended things right then and there I believe.

hope not. might make the trip to arizona

ruggs wont last until our pick. Beane would need to move up I believe

Considering it's going to be a 1 year deal no matter what I don't care if we overpay. We aren't going to use all of our cap space this year anyway so if we overspend a couple million on Greg Olsen it won't have any consequences. It's not my money.
exactly. with the salary cap space we have it doesn't matter if we overpay on a guy like Olsen. He would come in and help this team more than kroft did this year. I don't hate kroft or anything but Olsen even at his age is clearly more of a threat on the field.
-
win the division this year and get that playoff game at home. Patriots/jets/dolphins will struggle against the same schedule
-
Overall a very solid draft. Hopefully cody ford improves with an off season of work. It would be great if we can keep spain and then just let the same 5 start with an improvement in ford at right tackle. I think Vosean Joseph can be a nice player for us this season

have to let them run it on us and avoid giving up the deep ball.. no matter what we do seattle is going to put up 25 minimum. allen and the offense have to be ready to put up 30 points in this game to have any chance
