Nick mullins has been benched on a few occasions for cj beathard
That should tell you how good he is
i dont understand how the bills arent a 4-6 point favorite tonight honestly. Shut down the run and short passing game and it should be an easy win tonight

I can see it if the defense continues to regain form and John Brown is healthy.
Id love a wild card match up against the Colts or Fins and a divisional match up against the Steelers.
Dont want to see the Titans or Ravens rounds 1 or Chiefs in round 2.
agreed. id add in the browns in round 1 sounds great! no interest in seeing us play the titans or chiefs at all. ravens i think we could beat pretty easily this year.

If Brown is out then this makes sense for the Bills. Even as a 4th WR that can spread the field. He would open up things for Beasley and Diggs much more than Davis is ever going to.
davis is pretty good but im all for adding another wr if they think he can help

its his 4th season as a head coach and hes 3 out of 4 playoff seasons with the buffalo bills who couldnt even truly compete for the playoffs for 17 years before him. id like to think this year he gets his first win and hopefully more. Mcdermott is the least of my worries right now.

i agree i think it would benefit us to throw deep more often. diggs will draw a pass interference on a lot of them or make a play over a defender. i think we will see the deep ball multiple times in the playoffs if we can get john brown back and healthy

Not a bad idea and probably of more value than an extra WR.
One would think Hauschka would be the first guy they call as he is still a free agent
yea that would probably be the right call to just bring him on the practice squad at the end of the season to have for the playoffs incase bass was to test positive.

My god, I could not imagine being in Pegula's shoes, knowing you desperately wanted Mahomes but allowed your football people to do their job and now you are forced to watch him ascend to potentially the GOAT status from a distance on a pick you traded away.
Pegula knowing multiple superbowls would have basically been guarenteed with mahomes has to sting. luckily i think josh can get us there but damn that has to be a tough one for pegula

id be shocked if morse doesnt start on sunday. Hes clearly the best center on the team and mongo should be playing guard

Does Sweeney’s injury count as a Covid related injury, so that whoever replaced him would be a “Covid Call-up”?
sweeny wasnt counting against the 53 so no call up would happen

good news. finally we will have our full secondary ready to go.

Tight end is the number one need going into next offseason. trade draft or free agency they need to get a threat from that spot. after that its probably 2 linebackers

I'll take Mayfield/Chubb over Tannehill/Henry any day.
absolutely. from most confident to least confident in the bills to win the first round matchup id rank the teams like this:
miami
Browns
colts
ravens
raiders
titans
-
honestly the browns in a cold weather snow game doesnt sound great to me. They are built for that. but in the end i think josh would put up enough points and we would just sell out to stop the run
-
mahomes for sure. after that no one

A more promising point that I think some posters are getting at here is -- We're going to start after the bye with about as healthy of a team as we've had all year. Looking at the games:
Chargers - We come out of bye, healthy, this should be a W
49ners - Injury plagued team - We should treat this as the best possible way to prepare for the biggest challenge of the year. We need to be impressive with a W here
Steelers - When the season started, before the 9iners essentially died, I wanted us to split between the two opponents. I think, if healthy, we can get a W.
Broncos - We should win this
Pats - Pending record they might play back-ups - they aren't tanking... but they are evaluating and positioning for next year when they will have higher draft picks and get 8 players back from the COVID opt-out. Even if they play all of their starters, I think we still win.
Phins - If we are 2 games up - we're playing back ups
Could we win all 6? Sure. but 4-2 is more realistic and should be enough to get the job done.
this is pretty much how i see it playing out. if we do drop one of those other games i can see us beating miami with the starters in if we want/need the game.
i do see it as critical that we beat the chargers coming out of the bye.
-
it will be nice to have pretty much our entire team against the chargers. especially the dbs as they like to attack downfield.

We gotta win those 4 games. Maybe we upset the Steelers but those 4 are critical. And the Cheats will probably be the toughest of these.
absolutely have to win the next 2 games to keep pace with the rest of the top afc teams. 9-3 sounds good
-
if we lose the division to them and end up going to miami to play them were probably better off. josh and the offense clearly play better in good weather. also if the steelers end up with the 1 seed it would set up a second round matchup with them instead of the chiefs. im perfectly fine with this scenario since fans cant attend a home playoff game anyways
-
hes good and hes under contract. simple
-
nope i honestly dont even care about that game. its likely the most meaningless game we have left this season in terms of what a win or loss would do to us. need to win the next two
-
if they can swap worley out and add him to the practice squad for depth im all for it.
-
chargers and falcons

Poor Miami might have to face Denver's backup QB on Sunday. I don't think Drew Lock is anything fantastic but ESPN said his ribs got banged up yesterday and he may not be able to play this week.
miami will beat any of the denver qbs doesnt really make a difference imo. Miami is definitely going to win the next 2 games so we will need to come out of the bye and get a win over the chargers to maintain a division lead.

Just name Dane Jackson the starter.
He came back in the game, so not a torn ACL, was also on the Bike after the injury
ah okay great i didnt notice him come back in. i saw him on the bike you can do that after tearing an acl so i still wasnt sure at that point the extent of the damage.

hopefully the guy can call plays because that will be our biggest set back next season
