Hear me out for a second. Given McDermott's no-nonsense attitude and desire for good-conduct guys, I think Dareus is in a precarious position, although I know his contract number could say otherwise. Dareus' lack of discipline the past two seasons and his stupid decision last off-season that lead to a four game suspension, may be a major concern for the new HC. Adolphus Washington is still and unknown talent so getting a player in the Third Round like Alabama's Tomlinson or Iowa's Johnson may be a necessity. But benching Dareus at some point in the season, if needed, would send a huge message to the entire team for the future. This team needs the discipline. Just my opinion.
