The Sabres are a dumpster fire. The Bills are one of the best run franchises in the sport. I don’t see him selling the Bills but I do see him getting out of hockey.
Disagree. While it's true the Sabres have been out of the playoffs for ages I think they may be turning the corner and have collected a lot of young talent. KA isn't perfect but in all honesty given the difficulty of drafting 17-18 year olds he's not done bad. I know people here love Beane and I like him as well but I'm not convinced going forward the next few years the Sabres will finally get it together. The Bills may take step back as they regroup.

Still think with all the defensive players on the board because so many offensive players taken if you weren't going to take receiver at 28 take BPA rather than trade down with KC. You still get your receiver round 2. Of course I'm for taking BPA in first round in almost every draft. Other tan that Beane ran pretty good draft it seems.

It is not September yet. Beane will be working nonstop trying to improve this team until then
Except he has us in cap hell. So he doesn't have much to work with.

If Beans is serious why didn't he use the first pick for defense where there wss great value after a run of offense for over half the round. Beane and I get laughed off for this but talks good, looks good but is not a great GM. He's not bad but not great as many fans have him.

Take a couple corners and call it a day.
Im almost 100% convinced we’re trading for a WR or signing a FA WR at some point, so anyone we draft is competing with Shorter/Hamler etc at WR6.
We don't have cap room for much it would seem to me.

Based on your scouting expertise, of course.
Based on we need drafted players because we have no cap space. This was a draft when we should have taken defensive BPA in first round.

The glow is off for Beane. Not great draft and in cap hell. I've thought he's okay but not the great GM many think.

Offense I'm not that worried. I think our defense could be our downfall. Our secondary could be one of the leagues weakest. Hope I'm wrong.

Let's just have freaking draft!!!

My guess is KC gave up a third for a player very likely was there for them at 30. The Bills obviously didn't want Worthy at 28 and KC didn't want to see him go at #29 possibly. In any case we came out of round one with nothing. #28 is not a great position to be selecting it was going to be trade up or down.
-
First round you take BPA every time.

This old man won't last for our pick without a big trade up. Of course at 81 my passion has dropped. Ok, I can see the feedback coming already on the passion usage.

Not saying these guys are 1 to 1 replacements but I think they can replace the production those guys offered. I truly think Brady wants to get away from that 1a type receiver that we force the ball to and gets 160 targets. I could very well see the hall spread all over with maybe no one getting 1000 yards but 3-4 guys all getting around 50-70 catches for 900 yards.
I think people are getting caught up to much on what positioning these guys play (inside/outside) Samuel, Kincaid, and Shakir can line up anywhere. Cook can split out wide and Knox is pretty versatile too. For red zone your have Knox, Kincaid and Hollins who are all big targets.
I think what got us into trouble in the first half of last year was trying to force it to diggs. In the second half when diggs really didn’t look like a number 1 and they were spreading the ball around diggs, Kincaid, and Shakir all had similar numbers
I tend to agree. Spread the ball around and look at a control game utilizing the run as well.

I hate PSLs but it's a private company offering a product.
Agree there. Just don't ask tax payers to build something for you. Charge all you want for your product but seems tax payers in effect own part of Mr. Pegulas product namely the stadium.

Put what to a vote? PSL's? that makes no sense. Do people vote if the Olive Garden offers chicken parm? Its on the market, buy it or don't buy it, it is all of our choice.
Sorry, wasn't thinking PSL's strictly. More our tax payers paying for stadiums. Don't think that would pass. Then fans have to pay this PSL fee. Now that's a fans choice I agree. And I said if they do fine but don't complain about your taxes. Bottom line I think all stadiums being built using our state taxes would not pass a popular vote.

Making the fans pay is better than making the tax payers pay IMO. They are doing a mix though.
They can do it because demand is there, it's just that simple.
But it's still the demand of the minority. Put these to a public vote statewide and it goes down but you'll never see that.

And it all goes back in good ol' Terry's pocket. But hey... he kept the team in Buffalo right?
Wish we didn't cave in once again to this robbery.

Well all I can say is there's a fool born everyday. And then we turn around and complain about our taxes and cost of food and put out this for our millionaire player and billionaire owners. Jokes on us. Before I choose one cent of my taxes toward this I say bye,bye move the team wherever you want.

So sick of paying these billionaires fare. Putting rich peoples play pens on the backs of working class and on top of that gouging them to go see the product. Don't care if it's our local teams or other cities. Move as far as I'm concerned.

I'll be surprised pleasantly if fans down the line don't have Beans as whipping boy for how he handled the cap. This for sometime has been the biggest question mark I have about him. When and if this team starts regression and no $$ to change things his reputation will dissolve in large part. Just my opinion.

The domestic calls are piling up on this man.
Is he an unfair target or an easy target?
Seriously have to wonder how much longer the NFL can promote and support this man.
Not saying he should or will be suspended and or kicked out of the league eventually, but...
I have to wonder when the NFL just pumps the brakes on the features and constant ball washing by alot of their analysts on every network of this guy.
He's not the role model you want to promote NFL?
Is he?
Athletes should not and are not on a whole role models. Sort of the opposite of what I would want my kids(now adults) to have looked at as role models.

Personally I think everything that has happened in the last week makes it significantly less likely he trades up for a receiver and slightly less likely he drafts one at #28.
I think #28 has gone from best receiver available to best player available between receiver, defensive line and safety.
Agree except for safety.

their QB room since Big Ben left…..
Typically happens when your franchise QB goes. Days of having quality backups at QB are long for most part. Packers let Rogers go rather than wait and lose Love.

As good as Diggs has been I believe the decline could be significant over next couple years. As for his attention needs it's nothing but NFL Receiveritis. No known cure.
