I like Nate Burleson a lot and think he’s smart and well-spoken.  I guess of Good Morning Football he spoke on the topic on black coaches getting fired.  He then recorded the video/tweet below as a way to continue the conversation.

I think Nate did a great job presenting this topic and more diversity in leadership positions would be a great thing.

In the video he cites the Wilkes and Joseph firings as being premature.  I think the problem is that both coaches were not good fits for the situations they were stepping in.  It is certainly interesting that these coaches lose their jobs, but the GM’s who made the bad hiring are in the clear.

Then again, coaches like Jay Gruden, Doug Marrone (and to a lesser extent Jason Garrett) were given more time, when you could definitely make a case for all of them to be fired.

So I’m curious to know what your thoughts are.  here’s the tweet from today:

When I realized 5 of the 8 terms were non-white, I knew these claims wouldn't be far behind. I didn't watch the video yet, but does he make a strong case for why any of them should still be with their respective teams? Outside of Wilks (without knowing much about him 1 year seems a little quick to change your mind) they were all 3 plus years right?

I'm totally over the victim culture Burleson and so many others continue to promote.

superbowl? kc wont be in the dance but I agree, he should be suspended some games. as for the WOW factor regarding some of the replies, welcome to 21st century society where morals were left behind.

I don't think they will either, it's more of the point. His actions need to have consequences and he needs to understand how much his actions affect everyone around him.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt if he shoved her away and went on with his night, but he was ready to box. This guy is an idiot.

  3. I didn't make it through all 8 pages of replies, but from what I did read from some of you, WOW! I couldn't care less what she called him and that she was in his face, he is literally throwing his buddies around trying to get to her. His friends are doing everything they can to contain him and he is going buck wild.

This isn't a video of her kicking his ass and him finally snapping and hitting her back. This is a video of him throwing grown men and women around trying to get to her.

I'm all about 2nd chances, BUT damn ... he better get no less than Ray Rice and it needs to be immediate. He doesnt get to play playoffs and possibly superbowl just to then get suspended the first 6 games next season.

  4. Blake Bottles could have won us the game ...

All we needed was for Tyrod to not be terrible and we win that game. Average to Below Average and we win that game. Very frustrating. I wanted to root for Tyrod, I wanted him to be THE GUY but enough is enough.

The only QB's I dont start over Tyrod yesterday would be Jacoby Brissett, DeShone Kizer and Trevor Siemian.

...the whole scenario sucks....Fins have nothing to lose and can play bawls to the wall.....with Cadet gone, we have the two headed monster (or monstrosity) of Pro-Bowler Tolbert & DiMarco behind Shady......throw in a heavy dose of McJauron "play not to lose ball"....we should be all set......

We should be playing balls to the wall as well seeing as we have everything to lose. I'm going to be so disappointed if I see us playing conservative ball.

Ha! That’s been on a lot of our lists...for a long, long, looooong time.

But again you leave us hanging....1A?

? 1A is Bora Bora and that was checked off in 2015 so now I'm just waiting for my home playoff game. I'd choose a home playoff game over seeing the Bills in a Super Bowl (unless by some miracle that SB was in Buffalo) without giving it a second thought. I can't even begin to imagine the electricity that would be pumping through that place. We are a starving group no doubt.

Don't leave us hanging, whats the story on how you became a Bills fan?

January 27th, 1991. EVERYBODY was rooting for the Giants and me being the 10 year old rebel I was rooted my ass off for the Bills. I couldn't tell you one thing about football before that day. By the next Super Bowl I was a complete know it all, started betting with my uncle's and the rest is history.
