I really wonder if his decision had anything to do with Poyer... you’re telling me a 3rd and a 5th plus 2.8 mil more than he was already making was too rich for Buffalo? Gotta be more to the story then we’ve heard

Bryce love had 250 receiving yards and averaged 16.7 ypc as a true freshmen. Dion lewis’ season high at Pitt was 216. Love is coming off a torn ACL in his last college game. Likely won’t be ready for training camp like he said he would be in his combine interview. Day 3 pick.

He certainly has durability issues and that’s my biggest concern. To me he is comparable to Dion Lewis.

At that stage of the draft there are still going to be some of these blue chip DL/DE players still on the board that would likely rate higher than Hockenson if they're measuring solely by BPA. I wouldn't mind Hockenson in a trade down scenario, maybe the middle of the round? It's really been far too long (if ever) that they've had a real weapon at tight end. Don't forget about his teammate Noah Fant and also Irv Smith, Jr. from Bama who has a working history with Daboll. Those guys could also be in play in the second round. If they're following the Carolina model for success, I'm sure they're searching for a guy for Allen who can be what Greg Olsen is to Cam Newton.
Agree that it may be a reach at the time but if he develops into a Gronk or Travis Kelce then it would be considered a steal

Hate to say it but I honestly see a lot of Greg Robinson in Jawann Taylor. Athletic freak with great strength but I don’t think the technique is there. I’d rather have Risner or Cody Ford
