    1) During the last Bills possession just before half time, with seconds left on the clock -

why did the Bills not attempt a deep pass play - for a shot to either draw a penalty or get a completion close enough to attempt a long kick?

I saw that as a free opportunity to steal some points that you knew you were desperately going to need.    Bills chose to just run the clock out after they called a time out to put themselves in position to have those extra seconds.   Why waste an opportunity like that against a team you know is superior?

    2) Was anyone else mad that the Bills kicked the field goal at the time they did it?    I was.

Took Chan Gailey a while to learn that you have to be exceptionally aggressive to compete with the Brady led Pats.   You need to plan on scoring 30 points every time you play them.   And you have to take the chances necessary to be able to get those 30 points no matter what quarter you are in.

Felt like Dick Jauron out there again yesterday.   - Let's try to beat the Patriots with field goals.   Just stupid.    McDermott has not studied the Patriots anywhere near enough in my opinion.

    3) When was the first attempt at a deep pass by Buffalo in the game - half way through 3rd quarter I think?      Dennison you suck.

This coaching staff is TOO conservative in my opinion,   Yours?

youre right, doesnt matter though, tyrod is a total moron and too stupid to see the bigger picture.  he reacts like an animal to the same stimuli presented to him every time.   Its why he cant throw in rythym, cant go deep when down, couldnt use the middle for 2 years.  Just a dumb clueless moron - with athleticism.

I’m not trying to get you, I’m agreeing with you, that was a awful pass.

just completely dumb,  no knowledge or memory at least, of all the similarly non catches of passes where watkins wasnt wide open.   i just want to bet  all of you supposed experts money and then dvr all, i mean all,  maybe 30 or so, of the dropped balls that twatkins couldnt come up with in his time here.  and 21 feet is pretty far to tip the ball up and back to a db, when all the while he could stop his feet, jump and high point it,   but thats too hard for you to understand I guess.  non althelete and all.

    And two interference calls

And I’d add takes hits and gets contested balls

and Id add that he doesnt,  never did here, got ej benched the first time around, pawing at balls in houston that could have been TD's.

WOW two PI Calls????? thats the fault of the DB's.

Sammy lost us several games being a giant pu$y,  but most people memories go back a whole 2 games, or are blind to mistakes by "their guy"

why dont I like sammy?  I should right,?  oh ya because hes a huge Pus$y      thats why.

true,  but when ive been right for 4 years,  well before people jumped off the sammy b wagon, i get to say i told you so,  but good that you can write 4 letters,  really proud of you.  buttdrinks.

Nearly perfect pass? It was about seven yards short.

than how did twatkins tip it to the db?  7 yards is 21 feet, does smammy have 21 foot arms?  aligators tend to have 1 foot arms.

Matthews is a JAG. I took a lot of heat when I said it months ago and here we are. KB is a better version of Matthews as is Zay. DT is worth re-signing IMO. Add a guy in the draft and you are in decent shape.

well  sj was a JAG  and matthews is better than sj,   we paid sj alot to be a 1 lmao,   why cant we keep matthews? a real QB  could show us all what matthews can really do.

I agree actually.  I think the balance is way off now.  Some of the stuff that drew flags before was not something that should have been penalised but equally some of the stuff that is going on now is so cringeworthy....

    the proper spelling is "penissized"

Tyrod beat Ryan, Carr, Winston and Smith this season

oh god, these types of analyses are ridiculous, and prove nothing.

Did Tyrod "beat" them?  did they have a boxing match or something?   just dumb.

The BILLS beat those teams,  tightwad (a moron) had his part and didnt do much to lose those games while the other defenses didnt do as much as our defense did to stop their QB.

all of those games aside from the raiders were close at the end and could have all been losses thanks to tightwad not being able to get just 3 more points in any of those matches. He can barely get first downs most games.  Today was another joke of a game where we cant score or get a first down the stretch with the game on the line.

  7. Anyone who hated my flaming of watkins since about 4 weeks into his first nfl season with us, will remember I said he plays soft, doesnt attack the football and cant catch 50/50 balls.

Today in a close game he lazily stuck his arm out to pretend to make an effort at a nearly perfect pass about 2 feet behind him instead of slowing down to high point it and take a hit (he just paws at them with one hand when they are contested.)   He did this constantly in Buffalo and unless it was out in front of him or near the sideline/endzone he wouldnt come up with the catch.

SOOOO today he literally tips the ball (about to hit the ground), up and to the side about a yard away right to the cb which gave Goff a nice INT.

There was no chance of an int if twatkins doesnt do that, and it looked like an easy catch if he had just slowed down to catch it and take a little contact.

Moral of the story, I coudlnt stand his soft play and wasted talent way before the trade, and Im so thankful now that he is gone and we have instead a quality pick AND a quality CB who I really am liking this year.

Woods was the guy we should have kept, said it before he left, and its just as true now as when I sad it for the last 4 years.

  8. todays loss was on tightwad,  hes too dumb to play qb, and we lost because he couldnt spark the offense and inspire the D to give a crap.,  tightwad is just stupid, thats all it is, a dumb guy playing in a league where brains beats brawn at QB, thats why breeze played catch all day like our team was a joke, because it is...at least at qb

  9. whats funny about this thread is...since 2014 I stated sammy was soft, only catching well placed deep balls( like Evans was accused of) and that we should keep goodwin as our speed guy /5th wr.  Later I saw no reason to dump woods who now has proven to me much more reliable than zay and a better blocker of course.  We have thompson as our "speed" guy, hes 38 years old or something, Watkins is the new goodwin out in LA, and woods is a guy we could have really used but instead we brought in ummm....jones...mathews.... holmes,....brown....thompson etc.... all to replace what woods was and is doing for the last 5 seasons, being an excellent number 2.

Just dumb.  Why dont people just do what I say? you had 3 years to figure out what I saw in a few games.

next time ill call management and tell them what they are going to do.  one of which was to draft benjamin over twatkins but I was busy that day.

    fixed.

  10. I just watched the game back on gamepass and took a look at the throws to Zay.

From what I could see, he caught 2 of 9 targets...which doesn't look great, but...

4 passes were completely uncatchable/no where near him (bad throws by Tyrod due to pressure or whatever)

1 catch on the sideline where he was draped by a CB, could have made the catch, but it would have been a tough/great catch.

There was the one miss on the throw to the endzone, where he got tripped up by the CB's feet, so I don't put that one on Zay.

    1 bad drop, no excuse

2 catches: one for a first down another for 7 tough yards in the redzone.

When you actually look at the plays, he didn't have 7 drops, he had 1 drop and one contested play that maybe he could have made. It wasn't as bad as 2 of 9 appears.

exactly, i will grant you enlightened status. a rare honor here.

Someone on the equipment staff needs to remedy this situation. It's that damn "11" jersey number. From Norwood on, the number eleven has been a reoccurring nightmare:

    Norwood

    Rob Johnson

    Bledsoe

    Roscoe Parrish

    TJ Graham

now Jones. The number is cursed. It's a pox on the team and the player who dons it!

oh god, the humanity, this must be it! good get.

  11. If we can get a WR and 3rd/4th round pick for Glenn not sure how we don't pull the trigger ASAP.

Glenn is average and his better days are behind him. Time to move on and facilitate this rebuild.

LTs play for 12-15 years some times, how do you know his best days are behind him? cuz hes hurt so ya, just dumb.

He's like Wood, has a handful of very good to great games per season but is average to terrible in the rest.

There is a reason why this new regime isn't committing to him just like with Dareus, they obviously want him gone and I'm totally fine with it.

wow saw your first dumb post now this one, do you watch the Bills?

  12. Thing is, if tyrod just steps up a bit he has about another second to get the ball off. Could have hit our man on the hash on the last drive. I'm really not sure why he won't shuffle forwards, usually he is good at buying himself time.

+1 i noticed this too, he went from running too soon to not even climbimg the pocket and then taking sacks. Just take a few steps and throw it, such a small but huge difference.

  13. IDK - the Bills are 3-1 and in first place and they've done that by beating teams that everyone is saying they can't beat and they are one completion from beating Carolina and a 4-0.

So not sure how anyone can second guess the coach at this point in time.

wow so a win means evreything someone did was perfect? no room to criticize? and we almost lost 2 of the 3 wins and should have easily beat carolina who scored a whopping 9 points! Maybe a home run hitting rb would have made carolina a W and made the other games alot less close.

  14. The fact that it appears so straight forward makes you wonder what went on behind the scenes that no one knows of.

Considering how many people here on this board totally wrote the Bills off, ripping practically every decision they made, shows that most here on this site know very little compared to what they think they know.

Think I trust the Bills judgment more than those here who actually think they know anything.

i didnt. i thought theyd be better and backed tyrod even after carolina, my only rips this year were of Dennison not using play action, which he fixed, and this. i do know whats going on look up any post of mine. This is obviously a mistake, and 4 games in if you cant see it then you just dont want to see it.

    Karlos Williams.....

no remember when duke williams scored 3 tds in one game?/

    fixed. :nana:

  15. Tolbert over J.Williams

Remember all the game closing TD runs by K.Williams in 2015? then all of the game closing TD runs by Gillislee last year?

Well this year we have fat, lumbering Tolbert running into the pile when we really need big plays.

Last week he dropped an easy TD, this week he fumbled on a run. Both were bailed out by other players, notably Holmes catching Zay's miss for a TD and Dawkins recovering his fumble. But where are the big plays? or even the first downs?

    J. Williams was ripping off big runs in pre season and looked great, he would be doing the same in Denver if he wasnt behind 2 studs.

McDermott is great but just doesnt believe in the electrifying skill players, im surprised he didnt trade Shady.
