KB is the most pathetic excuse for a professional athlete I’ve ever witnessed.
Buh-bye

Schopp HATES, and I mean absolutely to his core HATES the movie Planes Trains and Automobiles.
Thats all you need to know about him.

Remember. It was 4th and 11 with plenty of time left. He didn't have to go to the end zone.
He threw it to the open receiver

Clay cannot be on the back end of the end zone as Allen is winding up to throw there.
Allen is running around backwards and navigating through traffic just to get the ball off.... but Clay is somehow still on the back line of the end zone? I don’t get it. Maybe all his “vet days off” mean he’s never practiced the scramble drill.

Yeah like he's gonna blame his teammates come on
Let him roll with it.... the reality doesn’t compute with agenda.

I wonder how many pick sixes our secondary would have in Tua's first ever game against a pro defense with little preparation. That alone might cover the spread.
Probably not that many vs. Tua because Jerry Hughes would probably snap his neck in the first few possessions.
But yeah - probably a lot vs. their backups.

Shut up Sal, it's not coddling its called making it work. Would you rather they throw everything on Josh's shoulders and ruin the kid, again shut up.
Of all the people covering the Bills I think Sal knows the least about football in a list that includes Mike Schopp... soo.. yeah.

My concern is that the coach says the team uses jackets to “keep cool.”

Aside from Tre White, how many of the players drafted by McDermott and/or Beane could start on most NFL teams?
If you honestly believe this hogwash then you’re a poor evaluator of the game of football.

So you can just tackle a receiver within one yard of the LOS?
Thats what the defender was was attempting to do - he was attempting to tackle the WR.
If that’s the rule. Should just tackle the WR as he attempts to release or any RB going out for a pass before they hit the magic 1 yd line.

I love Shady as much as the next guy but he needs to run friggin forward more often than he does.
Pick ur spots to juke and jive.
Although I was hoping for a trade, a part of me is still glad we didn’t move him. I want to see him behind an improved line next season.
He has been a great Bill. Talented and tough as nails.

I think it’s been fairly obvious that Star is making a significant impact defensively.
I guess to the untrained eye of someone with an agenda it might not be as obvious.

Both.
We won ugly and he learned he doesn't need to look downfield every play.
One doesn't mean the other isnt happening.
Great post!

Bills D is talented. 14 straight quarters of darn good Defense now. We will be in most games because of it... especially at home.
The writer certainly nails McD’s scheme but to underestimate the talent is a mistake imo.

The 2014 and 2015 teams were very talented teams. I'd argue the 2015 team was the most talented team since 99. Problem was Rex and then him with his fat brother the following year.
Even the 2016 team while not as talented as the prior two years was still solid.
McBeane gutted the roster because they wanted to. It wasn't necessary at all.
2014 was a long time ago.

Do you happen to have stats showing the percentage other teams are blown out or perhaps a baseline of what constitutes a blowout? Otherwise this stat means absolutely nothing
This is the only post in the thread worth a damn.
I’m shocked it wasn’t addressed by the OP or anyone else agreeing with OP’s premise.

On point 5 - I thought Edmunds made the hit that caused the receiver to fumble and lead to Milano's INT. Need to see the replay though.
It was Edmunds and it was a game changing type play.

This is a serious question:
Why is OP still allowed to post on this board?

Uninspiring to say the least..
I know
Beane should have picked up an all-pro guard and an all-pro wr instead.

Schopp going on and on for 3 hours a day about how nothing is the preseason matters is pretty tiresome.
This is annoying.
Also, the day in and day out rants about his preference to throw more vs run more because you can get more yards per attempt. Duh. No thought given to the fact that defenses adjust to play calling or that the run game helps set up the pass. He’s an analytics nerd who evaluates football from a calculator. Guy would prefer to have Tyrod Taylor throw it 45 times a game than give it to Shady 25+ times. We wouldn’t have won a single game last year with him calling the plays. I think he often confuses fantasy football w real football.
I still like the show tho. I think listening to unique/different perspectives is healthy (no matter what the category) and I honestly think S & BD are good guys who each have a good sense of humor. Also, Mike knows a shizload about baseball which I enjoy.
Is it starting to become a little more clear why the rebiuld?

The motivation behind the tear down was first and foremost getting in position to draft a franchise QB specifically in the 2018 draft. Every other motivation behind the moves was secondary to that goal.
Sammy, Darby, Ragland, Marcel, Tyrod were all moved to acquire assets that not only would give Buffalo the fire power needed to reel in their QB through a draft day trade, but also to alleviate the the damage inflicted by the loss of draft picks that was sure to come due to the trade.
