  1. Jeremy Maclin Eagles- Torn ACL- Out for the season.

Dennis Pitta Ravens- Dislocated Hip- Out for at least 6 weeks.

Jonas Mouton Chargers- (2nd rnd pick) Torn ACL- Out for season

Ryan Miller- Browns OT- Concussion- Taken to the hospital. Taken to hospital for the Canadian fans.

Bills are going to have a full contact scrimmage. Seems like a good idea.

  2. Why would you ask HERE for help getting a job with the Bills? Why in the world would you ever call WGR? You have a Masters degree???? It took me all of a minute to look on the Bills website, under "about us" and click where it says JOB OPPORTUNITIES. There are none at the current time. You can apply for future notification. You could also send your resume with a cover letter directly to OBD. You really want a job with the Bills? Move to Buffalo. Get an internship with the Bills. Stand out enough to be noticed. Work your way up to a paying job. They just don't hand out jobs to anyone who wants one.

  3. I'll keep it to games that happened after I was born. I'm sure the 64 & 65 AFL Champ Games were great but other than highlights, I didn't see either one. Hard to list just 5 but....

5- 1988 vs NY Jets Clinched AFC East. Fandemonium was born.

4- 1989 vs Rams Monday Night FB. 23-20.

    3- 1990 vs Raiders 51-3.

2- 1980 vs Dolphins Broke the streak of 20 straight Miami wins.

1- 1992 vs Oilers Comeback Game

  4. Blackout rule is beyond archaic. When it was passed in 1973, you got 4 TV stations. No cable let alone HD. No internet. No smart phones. So many more options today. International Cable in Buffalo tried to defy the blackout rule once. Philly with Ron Jaworski at QB was here for a Thursday Night game. 1981. International Cable said they were going to show the game on TV and screw the blackout rule. I think they showed a quarter or a half before they were shutdown. Anyway, if they want it to be fair, take the average capacity of the home stadiums for the week and if you sell whatever that number is- no blackout. Teams put tarps on seats. Other places have millions more people than WNY and yet have smaller capacity stadiums. There is always going to be a problem selling out one or two games a year as long as the Bills are a bad team. That's just the way it is.

  5. Everyone knows (or should by now) that Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round. Joe Montana was a 3rd round pick. You just never know, Nassib and/or Barkley could turn out to be good or even great starting QB's someday. Everyone said numerous times that there were no franchise QB's in this draft class, that it was a terrible year for QB's. That shows as only 3 have been drafted so far. That doesn't mean they are right or wrong, only time will tell. I don't think the Bills will do what Washington did last year with RGIII/Cousins. They probably should but I don't believe they will do that to EJ. They will justify and protect picking him at 16th at all costs.

Scary the similarities. I don't like the pick. They would have taken him at 8th if they couldn't have found a trade partner. He won't help until 2014 at the earliest IF he develops. Now the expectations will be huge- FRANCHISE QB- and they will rush him into starting. This organization has not been right in a very long time, don't see much with EJ to convince me right now that it will turn out any differently this time. They could have filled a couple of other needs and with players that will start much sooner and still had a choice of 3-4 QB's with their 2nd pick in the 2nd.

  7. Geno Smith will be gone by #8. Jags want Nassib at #33. Jets need a QB and have #9 & #13 they can waste one of those on a QB if they want. Nassib at #8 to the Bills. They fear and they are probably right that he will be gone by #41, If they want Nassib, just take him at #8 and be done with it. They don't have the brains or the skill or the sack to start making trades and maneuvering into a position to get Nassib and someone else and they can't afford to give up any of their 6 picks. If they had 10 or 11 picks like some teams or if they traded a player like Byrd then maybe they could pull it off. Their track record, as we know, at getting QB's since 1997 has been a complete disaster, one more on the scrap pile and we can put Buddy Nix and his legacy as GM in the failure pile with the rest of them.

  8. I think next years QB's are better prospects than this years QB's but they should take a QB this year early but not in the first round. Make sense? Ideally, they would trade the 8th overall pick and get extra picks and use one of the extra 2nd or 3rd round picks on a QB. The worst thing they could do in my opinion is blow the 8th overall on a QB. Whomever it is, if they reach for a QB at #8, he will never, ever live up to the expectations and it will set them back a few more years plus they will not draft a QB early next year. I really wish Buddy Nix had nothing to do with any of this. I just know he is in panic mode and will blow it.

  9. As bad as they have been for 13 years....maybe they have been listening to the fans. Old saying is something like "When the GM starts making decisions based on what the fans want, he will be one soon." Fan revolt? How do the fans revolt exactly? Not going to the games? They still go except to the late December games. Only one of those this year. Even if attendance dropped to 20,000 per game or less they would just threaten to move the team. Fans have no say in much of anything.

  10. You traded the 8th overall and Byrd for a net of 3 draft picks that leave us at 30 & 31 in the first round? I think they can do better than that. St. Louis needs a safety and has two first round picks. Byrd to the Rams for a 1st. Bengals have 2 second picks, see if they would like to move up- someone will in the first round to jump over the Jets- anyway- 1st (8th) to the Bengals for their 1st (21st) and their 2nd (37th). That's even on the trade value chart. That gives them:

    1-16

    1-21

    2-37

    2-41

    3-71

plus their 4th, 5th and 6th round picks. Looking at all the mock drafts. This is what I would do.

    1-16 Tavon Austin- WR

1-21 Fluker/Warmack/Cooper- OL- if any of the 3 are left or Eifert TE if he is still there.

    2-37 Ryan Nassib- QB

    2-41 Reid/Elam- S

    3-71 Terrance Williams- WR

    4- LB/CB

    5-LB/CB

    6-Whatever is left.

Knowing the Bills, they will not do anything worthwhile, blow the 8th overall on Nassib,...and not sign Byrd and he walks after this year for nothing.

  11. I don't know why they still let Buddy Nix do anything. He's just not a good GM. Deep down inside, don't we all know they will blow this draft? What they should have done is trade the 8th and get extra picks. If they take a QB at 8th, that is just a bad pick, Buddy says they have 6 guards. Any of them any good? Better than Warmack? Nobody wants the 8th overall pick? Then just take best available. Too many questions. Too many holes to fill. Not enough quality starters let alone depth. Huge question at QB...still. That's a bunch of big problems.
