Rex as the coach of your football franchise is like being married to a manic-depressive. High highs and low lows. When she's manic you're hitting bars, screwing like rabbits, maybe even a threesome thrown in the mix, but when the lows come they are extended and terrible to deal with. I figured Rex would stink on the offense, penalties, challenges, and overall game planning like he always did with the Jets. But how bad he's been on defense was a shock to me, it's the one thing that made him a decent coach, he always gave you a top 10 and sometimes top 5 defense, and he was consistent with that. I always figured a mature OC teamed with Rex and his top 10 defense would be a good long term plan. It just hasn't worked out for him, I don't think he has qualities to be a legit HC in the NFL.

I don't know that I would fully blame Ryan, he did a great job his first year bringing a bad defensive unit to a top 5 unit. In year two it's obvious Sean Payton starts micro-managing aspects of the defense, bringing in someone to manage the secondary clearly was throwing down the guantlet (and it got much worse). The entire team is dysfunctional and it's just a bad situation, so who knows how much of this was Ryan's fault, or Payton's fault for creating an atmosphere where Ryan was a lame duck and enabled the players in losing confidence in his system. The GM also has to take some blame for putting together an absolutely talent-less defensive roster.

Do you guys think Rex literally signed IK months ago, then put him on the active roster for no other reason than troll the Jets in week 10 of the NFL season? I don't think Rex even thinks IK can play in is defense, he literally just kept him around to troll for lulz at this point. It's kind of sick if you think about it. I get if IK was an impact player, but the guy stinks and will likely be cut unceremoniously shortly after this game.
