    If the documents are found to be legit, the story will stay around until the election

     

    If the documents are found to be forgeries, the story will blow over quickly. They'll call it a blemish on a stellar career and blame it on some lower level researcher, intern, or other nameless, faceless, and maybe fictitious person

    don't mean to get Clintonian, but it depends on your definition of offensive

     

    according to Dictionary.com, there are 4 definitions of offensive as an adjective and 2 more as a noun

     

    2 of the adjectives can be used in this context...

    1. The system. Not a lot of plays, not a lot of protections, not a lot of complications. In other words, keep it simple, stupid.
