Just called the ticket office and asked if I could talk to Brandon Beane. They said no. So just know that I tried to do my part.
He's busy preparing for a radio interview

He brought a long missing nastiness to the offensive line and I think it was contagious.

One thing you have to say about this McBeane administration is that they've created the most positive, family-like locker room in football. And not in the "coach lets us do what we want" way, either. It's a fantastic situation for being perpetually ahead of the game in FA acquisitions.
So much of that is due to having a modest, unassuming superstar quarterback.
He sets the tone and is a special person, overall.

Ya know... Elijah Moore and Curtis Samuel were both 2nd round picks and 4.3 speed guys with Shakir as a 4.4 guy. There's plenty of speed and talent between those 3 players. I hope at some point Brady sticks Moore and Samuel on the outside and puts Coleman in the slot. This would be a great week to try that.
Love it. Only change I would want would be Shakir in the slot and Coleman out.

Oh, for sure. Where we've inked big contracts to the likes of Rousseau, Benford, Bernard, Shakir, Spencer Brown, and James Cook... The Lions have:
Aidan Hutchinson: Signed through 2030
Penei Sewell: Signed through 2029
Jameson Williams: Signed through 2029
Kerby Joseph: Signed through 2029
Amon-Ra St. Brown: Signed through 2028
Alim McNeill: Signed through 2028
And their pipeline of upcoming Gibbs, LaPorta, Jack Campbell, Terrion Arnold, Brian Branch is better than who we have coming due.
But I'll also add there are a few years of them picking in the top 10, one year at #2 overall. We've only been in the top 10 once, in 2019, picking 9th. And have been in the late-20s/30s ever since.
Bills Lions
2019 9th 8th
2020 22nd 3rd
2021 30th 7th
2022 25th 2nd
2023 25th 12th
They've had access to a completely different class of players than the Bills could ever sniff in the draft.
Thanks, that is some great information.

They're basically just a year behind us. They're in the exact same situation as us next year.
Thanks. I do think they have done a better job of building a complete roster than us.

Where do Lions get all this money. They gave St. Brown a huge deal too.
Meanwhile Bills don't have 2 nickels to rub together in cap space
Thank "Wizard" Beane.

A new GM would mean McDermott's job is on the line. A new GM may work with McDermott initially but if things go south then the new GM will definitely want to bring in his own HC. We see this scenario play out in sports all the time.
Unique situation though, with McD and Beane reporting separately to Pegula.

He's referring to the fact that Beane making a trade for a WR after going nuclear on Jeremy White for saying that's something we need to do would take some humility.
Also that after a blowout win, he could fall back into thinking "our Offense is fine, we don't need to make a deal".
And I too worry about both those things.
Thank you... that's WTF I was talking about.😂

Wideouts 2 catches on 5 targets - 22 yds. This is a liability not going to get it done against better competition. BB please make that Jville call.
Beane would have to admit he has made poor decisions.... a blowout will let him hide for another week.
