  1. In spite of the opinion expressed in this article, good for Rex.

I'm tired of coaches who conceded two games per year to the Cheats*

Rex did play the first game in Buffalo wrong by whipping up the frenzy and playing soft D. He will not make the same mistake in a few weeks.

Enough already. Im not getting my hopes up like we were sold a few weeks ago.

  2. GREAT WIN. So many good things happened today.

    In terms of #24:

Gilmore is not a flashy guy. He does his job. He has stone hands however. On that TD he got lost. It was a broken play so I will give him a break, but really, he should have just stuck with his man.

Also, let it be known it was his man that scored the 2 point conversion. Giving 5 yard spread on his man on a 2 point conversion is just dumb.

Also, Boobie Dixon should never touch the ball again but Rex likes him. Anyone else watch the Rex Ryan dressing room speech. He jokes alot with his players. Whaley was drinking a beer and Pegula really looks out of place. Looks like a serious man.

  3. interesting, I don't know - he wasn't targeted much, he did get beat for a TD one on one with Gronk on the goal line.

My point is: If Gilmore didnt have to cover Edelman or Gronk, then why would he even throw there.

BTW: Edelman was wide open on the 4rth and 1. Brady overthrew the ball. ( it was 24 that was covering )

The CB play didnt change the outcome of this game, however Gilmore had a bad game yesterday.

  4.

I thought that there were 2 stretches of game play yesterday--from mid 1st quarter to mid 2nd quarter, and most of the 3rd quarter--in which Taylor looked a bit lost out there. He rallied, which is encouraging, but I do think that he played a bit too conservatively and also appeared not to see Clay open down the seam a few times.

Nothing particularly damning as far as I'm concerned, but certainly some things that he needs to improve upon IMO.

He allowed 2 completions in 59 pass attempts.

He wasn't even the guy in coverage on the 4th-and-1.

I just rewatched the play. It was him on coverage.
