Barry Sanders having to share it with Brett Favre still irks me.

When Peacock aired Bills/Chargers someone mentioned (from Rochester I believe?) that they were able to watch the Amazon games on the Barrie station with a digital antenna. It's looking like this game with be on CFTO Toronto (CTV) which is closer and probably has a stronger signal.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Leslie Frazier became a Defensive Coordinator for Giants.
That would make sense and Daboll doesn't seem to jive with tightly wound DCs. Maybe Jerod Mayo would be interested if he doesn't get the HC job in NE?

I’m sure this has been asked and answered so forgive me, but now it’s:
Lose and we play Miami again next week.
Win and we host Pittsburgh.
Is that 100% now? Thanks
Correct

I have been perusing the dolphins fan forum, finheaven.
Some of them are crapping their pants over facing the Bills.
Others have seen the Bills performance the last two weeks and think they will be too tough for us at their home.
They even have a group of panicking reactionaries that wants McDaniel and staff fired. Maybe it's the McD abbreviation that drives people mad??
Anyway. Check out their forum. It is fun to see our fan bases are very similar in their frustrations.
We can't lose this game to the Dolphins.
Go Bills!!!
It's like visiting bizarro world reading them complain about their McD.

Plus a few years ago as the one seed, they rested their starters and got bounced right away. Maybe Harbaugh takes a different approach this time around.
Perhaps the starters play a few series they gradually start getting pulled.

It was reported up thread that the 700k viewers who tuned in for the Bills/Chargers game represented 12% of the viewers in the LA market, so pardon me if the word “share” was misused.
You work in the TV advertising field and you’re telling me the NFL advertisers were OK with attracting 700k viewers in a TV market the size of LA? Well, if they’re happy then the advertisers who spent half the money for a commercial spot on different networks that attracted more viewers must be ecstatic.
While I appreciate the link, I’m not sure how that information from October is relevant to the Bills/Chargers audience last Saturday night.
At the link - granted from week 4 - here was how the Chargers vs the Raiders, who have a big LA following - rated:
5
CBS NFL Single
KCBS (CBS)
U
11.0
472,667
So yes, advertisers were more than happy with 700,000+ viewers on a SATURDAY for the "home" team already eliminated from the playoffs. To be generous, if KNBC promised 500k viewers, they got 200k for free. The 11 is a household rating, not a share. Does it seem bad compared to Buffalo? Sure, but Buffalo is the #1 NFL market, and in general they watch a ton more TV than the rest of the US.

700k in LA is not a good number for advertisers who pay the NFL premium rates. In fact, it sucks. When advertisers see a 12% share of viewers, it’s a loss because that means 88% of the viewing market has their eyes on something else.
I work in this field and no - it's not a 12% share. Shares are percentage of households using television at the time. 100% of LA households aren't watching TV on the lowest rated night of the week. Take a look at these LA ratings for October: https://www.comscore.com/Insights/Blog/All-Eyes-on-NFL-Football-in-Los-Angeles-CA KNBC was VERY happy with these numbers.

I don't know the numbers on other large markets but is 700,000 a good number with a city the size of LA?
What does NYC, Chicago, Boston and Dallas do for household viewership?
Yes, 700k in LA on a Saturday night is a very good number. Also true is that the Bills vs Rams (or Raiders) would have yielded higher ratings.

Nope - The Patriot fans own that accolade.
Didn't the Panthers have just 5,200 attendance last week? I think they get the trophy. The Chargers would probably be up there too if they were still in SD (LA is an easy trip for visiting fans).

If Dallas was smart they would have scouted him during the blowout. They need that type of back more than we do.

I am curious how many of those 15 wins came in the first game…
That 15-12 is the first game record. 35-58 afterwards since 2010 : https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/2023-nfl-odds-how-to-bet-raiders-giants-after-josh-mcdaniels-firing

It appears (not confirmed) that Saturday's game is also on NFL+. The text results from all my google queries says "exclusively on Peacock." But a couple of my queries also showed NFL+ listed. When I searched NFL+ football programming for Saturday it had a button for "streaming options." clicking on it showed NFL+ and Peacock.
The "exclusively on Peacock" comment still has me a bit concerned, but it looks as if folks with NFL+ and not Peacock has an option to watch. If anyone, perhaps a bit more savvy with google searching can confirm, I'd appreciate it.
It'll just be on Peacock, with TV coverage locally in Buffalo & LA - much to the chagrin on the rest of the NBC affiliates. Canadians can watch on TSN.

I'm not going to get into it, but suffice to say it's hilarious to me how many people here are totally ok with cutting Chad Kelly slack, for no other reason than because he's Chad Kelly, but also would scream bloody murder if other players not names Chad Kelly got a break after doing something they didn't like. I could drop one name in here and it would prove my point. But whatever. It doesn't matter.
