I can see the benefit of sitting a quarterback and letting him learn, but in Josh Allen's case, is sitting him really going to be beneficial?

I'm not convinced. How many prospects overcome accuracy issues in college in the pros? Not many. Some of the flaws with Allen are fixable with good coaching but I don't see Josh Allen becoming a mid-60 percent pass completion guy at the next level. I think he is going to hover in the late-50 percent range. Now that is not a nail in the coffin for him because if the team schemes to his strengths, boasts a strong run game and strong defense, we should be able to win games with Josh Allen at quarterback. But I don't think sitting him is going to suddenly make him an accurate quarterback that is going to complete a high percentage of his passes. At this stage and we aren't going to change Josh Allen. He's a gunslinger quarterback with enough athleticism and size to run like Cam Newton. I would start the guy because I don't see sitting him being beneficial because he's not going to change into something different. Let the QB battle run it's course and if he wins scheme to the guy's strengths and let him go out there and lead this team with that competitive nature he brings to the table.

And build an offence around what he does well..not try to make him him something he is not!

IMO: play action passes (with deep, mid, and short simple reads)

"The helmet incident"....the single most overblown story in Bills history. Someone moved his helmet. The Super Bowl is all drawn out pre-game nonsense, so some overzealous sideline assistant decided to straighten up the helmets or something, and Thomas is somehow found to be guilty of not having his mind on the game?

    POPPYCOCK.

It was people working with Harry Conick Jr. (Spelling) who sang God bless America before the game that moved Thurman's helmet...and Thurman was my vote he was the best to watch in every situation, need one yard he turns sideways and gets it, 3 and 12 draw, runs around three guys and picks it up...shady could learn a lot from him!!!!

  3. IMO TT will do well with the Browns, He will lead them to 5-8 wins and the Browns fans will love him.  There will be high-lights of him scrabbling and making a big play and this board will still be arguing over him.  He is what he is, a good QB in the average-mid-of-the pack-type.  He will help an ok to bad team win or be in the game, but  is not a top tier QB.  I like him but it was time to move on for the Bills.  TT is a class act and in that way might be missed as our QB(s) try to make their mark!

I wish TT well and hope they/he do well, but

I hope the bills do even better and nail the QB position

    we have waited long enough!!!!

  4. A few thoughts:

Allen is going in the 1st round, like for sure!

IMO where he goes will make or break him.  IMO if u flip A. Rodgers and A. Smith their situations would be the opposite...with Rodgers not working out and Smith being very good in GB.  My point is if the Steelers take Allen and he sits behind Big Ben a year or two and takes over a good team he will do well...If he goes early to a bad team and gets thrown to the wolves it will not work out well for him.  I believe this has been the case for years now...with most QBs.  Again just my opinion.  Look at Jimmy G and Matt Cassel (spelling?) in NE.

The Bills just need to get it right...they also seem to be in a good position, if they don't sell the farm to move up...again IMO!

    Go bills!

The top 3 QBs this year are not in the can't miss class, its not like other years IMO!

Look at 1983 and how the QBs ended up that is how this year seems to me! it will be a great draft and exciting year of 20/20 hind-sight and talked about for years to come

lets hope the Bills get it right
