  1. I love this article and wish the media would focus more on positive news such as this. Kyle has been a true leader on and off the field and a complete class act. I am proud that he is a Buffalo Bill and could very well be the best 5th round pick we ever had. I remember complaining that we only got a 5th round pick for Eric Moulds but then Kyle dropped to us when I thought he was gone by round 3 for sure. My favorite analogy when he came out of college was being compared to a bowling ball with butcher knives sticking out. Wonder article thank you very much for posting it.

  2.

Anyone have intel on this kid?

    145 Ben Braunecker TE 6 Harvard Sr 6-3 250 4-5

He put up Gronk like #s in college and a near genius IQ.

I don't know anything about what kickers are out there, but hopefully we bring a couple in.

The kicker we signed from Georgia has a monster leg and I would love to see him make the team so we do not need 2 kickers like normal teams

  3. Would it be criminal to pick the 80s?

I had lots of fun in the 80's, not as much as the 90's though, being at the 51-3 AFC Championship game getting stared down by Howie Long from our Howiiiiiiie chant, never leaving miracle come back game, Joe Montana's last football play getting concused by Bruce Smith right in front of me and I in my Bruce jersey and the Jags playoff game where Jim Kelly took a very cheap forearm to the head right in front of me for his last play ever.

  4. Is there any doubt repetitive head trauma whether minor or not is bad for your brain. Just look at former boxers. I'll also go out on a limb and say playing basketball is bad for your joints.

And playing hockey is bad for your dentition :)

Hockey helmets are not even close to football helmets for concusion prevention. I have been playing for a very long time but I also have a good neurologist. The NHL should consider a similiar protocol as football for concusions.

From the Dr. who discovered CTE, an engaging thought provoking piece in the NYT: "Don’t Let Kids Play Football" http://nyti.ms/21IClUy

Aside from building character it also teaches them how to work with others in a team setting and is very beneficial for future employment
