I agree with Mel that I think we didn't find any steals in the draft. Meaning, there wasn't any top guys on Kipers board that we took - so from his perspective and based on his rankings, it would make sense he didn't like our draft. Let me say this about Darby.....I am also a pretty big FSU fan......and I said before the draft that I thought Darby was FSUs best defender. Seriously, if you look at the game by game, you will see teams throw on him the least. Teams game planned around him. He is really quick in/out and gets in position. His #1 frustration for us and opportunity to work on is hand skills. He doesn't always catch the ball....he bats it down or drops it. However, I think he will fit in nicely on our defense and has the speed to play against any slot WR in our nickel too. And this may allow Graham to move to FS. By the way - I LOVE Graham on the field. He is a playmaker! So anyway, I agree picking the FSU RB for special teams play and a WR were a little strange but clearly they targeted those players so I feel good about that part. O'Leary by the way --- has REALLY good hands. I predict he will have a good chance of playing #2 TE. He reminds me of Jason Witten. I thought he would have been top TE at the start of the season. He's only 6 3, however runs good routes and has great hands and body control/coordination. Anyway, I understand the draft grade given the board he had.....however I personally think Darby will be a great fit for us and hoping to see Graham at FS on opening day. If that happens - it was an AWESOME pick!!!! Also, I still love having Sammmmmmmmmy. I don't believe we would have picked Beckham. The fact that we traded up tells you we would have went a different position....we had Watkins as the only WR to take and he is special. And its so much better for us to have him over a different TE or OL from last year. That's what I think we would have got. I mean, forgetting the other WRs for a second -- Watkins broke Buffalo rookie records.....that's pretty special. We will see what happens this year however that's my feeling. He's a special talent.

I woke up this morning really happy we have Watkins vs two other players. And I am not even 100% sold that if last years draft was done over, Sammy wouldn't still be the #1 WR drafted ahead of OBJr. I know the stats were different so some will call me crazy. However, if you watch Sammy run routes, he is awesome! And imagine if he gets better. From what I hear, he's a really hard worker, dedicated to football and keeping his body in shape and oh by the way, I hear he's a great person....caring and humble! You look back at last year and let's say Buffalo ended up with Det TE. Then we wouldn't have Clay. What if we ended up with Clev CB? Everyone assumes we would have still went WR and that is not 100% we would have. The fact that we traded up tells me we didn't have those WRs that close on our board! And even if we did land OB, Evans or Benjamin (which is not likely), I would much rather have Sammy. I don't know....I might be a little crazy however I am still very happy with that trade up last year. Did I miss not picking in round 1? Well, it's always good to add talent however honestly, I would say No. I enjoy having Sammy and we wouldn't have him! And probably would have had Det. TE and then maybe not Clay. Anyway, I am not sure I have been this excited for the upcoming season since 1990s......the most talent I can remember in a long time. GO BILLS
