Not sure how many people listen to Daniel Jeremiah's podcast, but he dropped the nugget about the Bills "I have heard from a ton of different people, Jonah Williams is someone to watch there."
Just thought I would let people know.
Here is his last mock of 2018:
Had the Bills trading up for Josh Allen

Seriously? what were you expecting? Bill Cowher?
Someone that didn't need to coach TE's for three years to stay in NFL.

My biggest issue with this hire, is the TE coach for so long. If all that experience was with the O line, I would be fine.
I really think these hires tell us how other NFL personnel feel about McBeane's job security outside of Buffalo.
FA could get ugly.

Wow, seems like that is bottom of the barrel.
This stinks.

Gotta think Hausch wasn't 100% on a few of those kicks.
What was his excuse when he was doing that in Seattle to get him cut?
In Seattle he was putting kicks so short from manageable distances.

This is how coaching trees work chief. The Panthers were Super Bowl contenders in 2016. Not sure how hiring a young coach who happens to be a former special teams pro bowler could be a bad thing. Also did you happen to watch any bills games this year? Just about any ST coach would be an upgrade
We were hiring an assistant ST coach which means that it would be a promotion for a coach. This means we could have looked at any Assistant ST coach out there. I find it hard to believe, that the best assistant ST coach in the whole league just happened to be in Carolina.

Also worked with each other in NE.
This is almost like a gift from god.

The Carolina nonsense is getting nauseating. Expand your horizons.

Was Daboll's O line coach in 2011 when he was the OC in Miami

A lot of these staff positions get filled during the senior bowl week . Most of the gms and head coaches are there plus
Coaches looking for work are there to make contacts.
Can you prove that, because teams have been filling out their staffs for weeks now.
Just because coaches are in one room, doesn't mean they are going to wait to take a job until then.

I feel like on this site, certain things are allowed to be advertised on here.
I never understand why threads like this are allowed. This is a direct advertisement for the show.

At least we got an interview

What possible OL candidates are still available and considered decent?
At this point Juan Castillo would be the best option out there.
Some other names that have been thrown around by others that would be considered on par/worse than Castillo:
Ray Brown
Corey Matthaei (One year assisting O line as a coach).
Joe Philbin
Bob Wylie

Both better be gone. Production sucks even if they were making under a million. We need more production, end of story.
-
O line coaches hired this offseason already:
Munchak
Kugler
Campen
Warhop
Top tier looks gone.
-
Allen could really use that safe, short yardage WR. Humphries would be my first pick, followed by Beasley.
Really no reasons for the Bills not to sign two starting O lineman and then 2 WR to add to the bunch. Could be done with using between 45-50 million in 2019 cap money.

No they aren't. When we signed Daboll as OC he was barely on the media radar, never mind announcing an interview. Same with Robiskie last year.
There were rumors and chatter before the Bills announced him as OC. I remember tweets from LaCanfora, maybe even an article.
-
I'm sure there were a ton of coaches that didn't become HC until later in life and their looks went away.
He is the best looking because he is the youngest. Kingsbury is also overrated.
-
It's concerning that all you hear about is interest from the Bills after the guy was hired. Doesn't even sound like we are getting interviews since those seem to be widely publiced now.

He was Director of College Recruiting for 4 years with the Chiefs before coming to the Bills... took a demotion here
Thought I read something on this thread that all his jumps were for promotions. That makes more sense though if he was the director at one point.
-
Seems like a big jump but good for him. Feel like he skipped the director level.

Any mock that includes a trade back this year with no high end QBs can be thrown out

Literally lost out to a guy who got fired from college last year. Pretty telling how other coaches view our future with the current regime.

Living in Canada I follow the CFL in my "spare" football time (their season starts before the NFL's does). Comparing Inman with Williams is apples and oranges as to receiver type. Dontrelle is talented and was productive in the CFL the two years he was here and he helped Toronto to a championship. But last year Williams was literally twice the player Inman ever was. Way more versatile and complete in terms of skill set. Inman was very good. Williams was dominant. Think TO. Will it translate to the big stage where DBs and linebackers are bigger, badder and better? Idk but I'm looking forward to finding out.
Never compared the two. Just said if Williams put up Inman numbers, that would be fine.

Daniel Jones is a lock to the Giants with Cutcliffe being his college coach. Not sure at what pick, but Eli is already preparing for it and would love to work with Jones.
