I like TT, will forever have fond memories of him as the best qb of my fanhood (since 2004) and the guy that ended the drought, and think Peterman is the worst QB I've ever seen. But your whole point and original take I was quoting just looks weird as hell.

TT's 35% completion and 100 yards through 4 quarters today would not have carried over and looked meaningfully different in the rain on this team against guys like Weddle

My points today are 25 % EFF TT haters and 75 % can we finally admit we need elite offensive coaching and real WR.

The 75% is so obvious it hurts. TT was very good, worked his arse off and covered it up by his play.

Today there can be no doubt that just the QB can't do it all - TT did enough - with a very good D - to get the Bills to the playoffs - Josh nor Peterman can do that.

Use the resources coming our way to get:

    - a real OC (Roman, Lynne, our college guy now ain't it)

    - Real WRs

    - real OL

Can no longer blame it on TT.

  2. Question was definitively answered. Is it Tyrod's fault or was it crappy OC's and practice squad WRs.

Tyrod effectively beat the Steelers today on his first day as  a CLEVELAND BROWN. Let that sink in.

So, without looking backwards too much, that question is settled.

Use the 2019 salary cap $ on:

    - a real OC

    - NFL WRs

    - O Line

JTFC This has never been that hard.

I didn't watch most of that game, but Tyrod lost 47-10 to the Saints last year at home and threw for 56 yards

The problem wasn't moving on from tyrod, it was doing so in a summer where so many QBs changed hands but winding up using Peterman

    Point I was making.

TT had a really bad game that day vs the Saints. With practice squad WRs and No OC,. This is my point. He did on the other hand lead the Bills to the first playoff berth in 17 years - with help - but did enough - even with that WR corp and OC. Imagine what he could have done with a real NFL OC and real WRs - like today - he tied the Steelers in his first reg season game as a BROWN! You think Peterman or Josh could do that ?

Just sayin that today exposed Peterman and the lack of attention to the O side of the ball which was formerly blamed on TT.

Gone now. Own it. And frack all TT haters.

  4. Don't think it's accurate to say keeping TT is romanticizing. He was some how divisive given that half the fan base like d him and half thought he was holding the team back.

That half that thought he was good wins today in an unhappy landslide for all Bills fans.

If 3 Years of amateur OCs and practice squad WRs wasn't enough, add in a college OC and a worse than ever OL and you get this joke of a game.

Those who think that the Bills O issues were TTs fault were rudely awakened today. The Ravens aren't that good - yet they held this Bills O without TT to no first downs in the first half - and 3 points all game.

Tyrod was just good enough - damned good enough - to cover up the O problems all the way back to a Rex D and that fvcktard OC (same as Kaepernick's)  OC from the 49ers - Roman, right? Then the upend coming RB coach ?Lynn ? Now  a COLLEGE OC.

Quit it. Huge salary cap relief in 2019 needs to go to - real WR's. Real OC, Real OL.

Tyrod haters and "process" followers got completely exposed today. All arguments against are silly. Same dude tied the Steelers in his first outing on a brand new BROWNS team. Let that sink in.

Rear view mirror is never what to look at. Tyrod's time at the Bills is potentially properly noted but I suspect not.

Going forward, commit to a real OC, and real WRs.

  5. Greatest day in Bills history since they acquired Jim Kelly and/or Bruce Smith.

Today was the total wake-up call to all the Tyrod haters that it wasn't Tyrod's fault. No Tyrod-led team ever got this embarrassed on O. Ever. We were always pretty much in it.

As a Tyrod supporter, I can concede he might have not been the QB that leads one to the Super Bowl victory...

All said, he was, for all 3 seasons, surrounded by ****ty OCs and practice squad WR. There were star WR but they never stayed heathy.  TT did - when they did, the Bills O excelled.

Today, we had a ****ty college OC, and practice squad WRs, and an even shittier OL.

Not sure what process we are supposed to trust on the side of the ball. The Ravens - a good D - had never held anyone too first downs in the first half - ever.

This is an 0-16 team if there ever was one. The Ravens are really not that good. Tyrod covered up for so much fail on the O side of the ball. Today you saw what it's like to ignore that side of the ball and blame it on a QB you didn't want to pay. Same dude tied the Steelers in his first game as  BROWN. Let the sink in.

I'm a Bills fan first but always outed myself as a Tyrod guy here. Also not a rear view mirror guy. Windshield.

Huge salary cap and draft opportunities coming in 2019. Gotta get a [real] OC first, OL second WR third.

We are pathetic on that side of the ball and have been forever - Tyrod was just good enough to cover it all up. Anyone that argues that is ignoring today and the other time Peterman started,

Obvious AF. You don't have TT to kick around any more.

    WAKE. t. F. UP !

As all you know my thoughts on TT.

However Dennison go put him in the best shot to win out first playiff game in a long time.

Move him, run him, play with tempo, and put him in shotgun

Holy Chit. I agree w a Bobby post. Is it a Cyclone Bomb or has hell frozen over ..

STEP 1. Zay needs to become a real second round pick - in this game.

STEP 2. Dennison unleashes a run option game and TT gashes them once or twice on that.

STEP 3. TT will surprise us all with his ability to pick apart a D that is actually worried about more than just Shady  and 1 or at most 2 receivers.

IMO this game is on Zay to break out and for Dennison to design and call non-Shady plays that aren't on film.

    D will be fine.

At least 2 of the INTs were on Bills receivers making two boneheaded plays.

The FB who had the ball bounce of his head and into the arms of a Charger should have an INT on his stat sheet. Pretty sure Zay dropped one as well that resulted in a pick.

Yes - Peterman had a horrible game, but if you take his INTs in context I do not think the game was all time bad like many believe.

You'd blame all 5 on Tyrod, tho.

  8. This RB class (2018) is stacked with talent:

    Saquon Barkley - PSU

    Bryce Love - Stan

    Nick Chubb - Ga

    Darius Guice - LSU

    Damien Harris - Bama

    Sony Michel - Ga

    Akrum Wadley - Iowa

    LJ Scott - MSU

Saw most of them play in the Bowls and any of these would be a food fit as a Shady back-up. Should be able to wait till 3rd.

His option wasnt picked up and Combine happened and agent took the market for him and guess what he redid his deal. That tells you what the other teams (not national media) think of him

So how does the QB that has led one of the NFLs worst passing offense over three years upgrade Denvers QB room

Denver actually has WR, puts passes to them in the regular offense and an OC that would use TT's running ability - like also actually having an option game.

It's basically on to NE then. If TT can have a Joe Flacco 2013 MVP SB run where he looked like Joe Montana throughout the entire post season everything will change.  We don't know what or how TT responds to big time games yet, we will see soon enough.

I have my doubts but would love to see TT prove me wrong about him.

TT it is all on you man, here's you chance to shine and become a big time QB in this league. Opportunity knocks like this once in a life time

    Lets GO Bills!!!!

Add on, stuck in my head now :)

    To Tyrod from Eminem:

    Look
    If you had
    One shot
    Or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
    In one moment
    Would you capture
    Or just let it slip?

Was just college but he showed up - MVP Style - in 2 ACC Championship Games and an Orange Bowl.

TT will not be a starter next year because the league knows he sucks. He’s passed for less than 100 yds more than once this year. He hasn’t led the Bills to a damn thing — if the Bills make the playoffs this year it’s not due to Taylor. We could have replaced Taylor’s production easily with a free agent QB. I wanted McCown, and I was right. Taylor is awful and when the Bills win they do so in spite of that gutless, trentative, mouthbreather.

    Damn. Happy New Year, Dude.

The entire league knows what Tyrod can do. Nobody is impressed.

They do, but the talking heads on ESPN and NFL Network have yet to get the memo.

Like lead Bills to the playoffs despite deck stacked against him on playcalling and WR - telling the nation, fans and team that Peterman gave the Bills a better chance to win at LAC.

Sorry haters, like it or not, TT will get a yuuuge national pass on that benching alone. Especially given how he handled it. Pure class.

  13. Tyrod stock goes up if he performs well in a road W vs. The Fish no matter what happens - playoffs or not.

It's a very easy argument to make for his agent that McBeane "sacrificed" the LAC game to see what Peterman could do - and that was the game that kept the BIlls out.

And it was publicly clear to the entire NFL that the Bills O woes were not even 50 % TT.

TT had nothing to do with a 37-7 first half of a pivotal game.

  14. TT has played nothing but QB since he was 5 years old. Except for Wildcat snaps @ Ravens and Bills, every snap.

He plays it differently for sure - but he has proven he belongs in the NFL.

Will prolly not reach the ultimate success level but dude can play and win at this level - no need to move to WR.
