Being an NFL Quarterback is DEMANDING to say the last. The amount of responsibility for such a young guy to carry is really enormous. They are working on his game, it’s a process. The base game of any NFL quarterback has to be the short routes, because moving the chains is the most important thing. They’re focused on getting him to do this and make good decisions. Josh Allen seems to be a mentally strong guy for his age, and I think I’ll get through that. He has all the power necessary to throw the deep ball, so I’m not worried about that....it will come back in time.

As for the fumbles? It’s simple, this is a case of teams having more tape on a guy they didn’t have before and studying his weaknesses. This happens to every young QB in their early development - the weaknesses get exposed and then they have to fix the problems.

My question for you then is why do we repeatedly see Josh Allen throwing deep on 3 or 4th down if as you say they are coaching him on the short game.

    Makes no sense to me.

    Please  explain.

I hope we dont make a move for AJ Green... Sending future picks for said player will not ensure a SB victory this season or next.

Keep with the process and build through the draft with low risk trades and unheralded free agent signings.

    WINNER.

I fully agree and further,  I am  confident that Beane will not reach for a wr that is too high  priced.   If it is a cheaper option that fits Mc D / Dabs needs , I could see it happening but I  really don't see anything like that unless  someone like Atlanta decides to tear down their team.

My only reaction is that not every blow to the head results in a concussion.  A few years ago I stepped off the edge of a sidewalk while walking.  There was about a 3 inch drop off that caused me to lose my balance and fall face forward.  I slammed my forehead into the concrete.  Other than a large goose egg from the blow, I had no loss of consciousness, no symptoms whatsoever.   No confusion, no drowiness, no headache.  To make others happy, I went to the hospital to make sure.  A CT scan confirmed there was no damage, no problem.  Thereafter, I had no delayed symptoms.

Can you throw or catch a  football?

Done perfectly by Hyde, and most importantly, it was a legal hit.

As for Poyer, his helmet to helmet hit later in the game could have been flagged, but I'm sure he will be seeing a fine later in the week for that one.

I highly doubt that he will be fined.  First of all,  he did not lead with the crown of his helmet.   The helmet  to helmet contact was incidental.   It happens in a contact sport.  After watching the re-play,  it is pretty  clear that he simply lowered his shoulder.   I will be shocked if  he is fined.

Shaq got ejected in the 3rd quarter because he can’t control his rage...then had to be restrained again in the tunnel on his way to the locker room.

He had a bad day and Coach does not like guys who is over emotional.

    This could’ve been the nail.

Ummm... You couldn't be more wrong.

Did you hear Mc D say in the post game presser that he loved the fact that Shaq defended his teammate.

  6. I can't believe what I read here sometimes.  Allen played a good game.  He is a rookie.

You people trying to knock him have no f' ing clue.

WTF are you a Bills fan?

Are you salty because "you" wanted Rosen, Darnold, or someone else?

Grow up and get over it!

Allen is going to be the Qb for the foreseeable future.  Get on board or go be a Jets or Cardinals fan.

I for one am glad to watch him progress.

    Give me a compelling argument.

I come down 2X's/yr on average and of my group am the only "fan" watching the Bills religiously and on sites like this.

Yes it means a 3 hour drive with the border to cross and my friend states it is a tradition.

I told him there is no way I am wasting 12 hours on Sunday (3 infront of the TV is plenty) to watch this team.  It is not the losing, it is fielding a product that has been so unwatchable on Offense and absolutely no fun.

When was the last fun game they played?  Not talking blowing out Minny (boring as heck after the first 20 minutes) or Arizona or Oakland where the Bills actrually won by double digits.  Maybe the OT loss to Miami Xmas 2016 (and they gave that one away)?

I guess if Allen is back this week or after the bye and plays well, but otherwise ss there a reason to pay money and support the Bills as they are right now?

As a longtime fan (1973) and ticket holder,  I have suffered through many seasons like this.  I used to get seriously upset. I hated going to work pissed off every Monday morning.  As I matured over the years, I look back at all the great times I have enjoyed with family and friends at the games.  Win or lose, I enjoy and look forward to many more.

So... If you cherish the time together with your friends,  I would recommend going despite the absolute garbage of an offense this regime marches onto our field each Sunday.

    Enjoy the game!
