  1. Reading Tim Graham article made me sick to my stomach to be a bill fan. What is worst, is the fans that believe that rubbish. How quickly we forgot the state of the Bills when Buddy Nix took over. The organization was in such shambles no one wanted to coach this team .Granted the main reason for this was the health of Ralph Wilson. More importantly the roster was not talented. Looking back the only major talent on the team was Marshawn Lynch and all of buffalo wanted him out of town. Where the roster was then, compared to now, is remarkable. Graham's article talked about the amount of draft picks still on the current roster during the term Whaley and Nix has presided over the team. He compare the Bills roster to the lowly Browns who kept their entire draft class about 15 deep. Then on the other hand compared the bills to the Steeler, Packers and Bengals who have had the same head coach / GM combination forever. In the last six years the bills has move from Jauron to Gailey,to Marone and now Rayan. We all know how the NFL works, new coaches bring new schemes, idea and players. Under Chan Gaily we were going to play a 3/4 defense with George Edwards. then we switch to a 4/3 with Dave Wannstead. Then Marone came with Petine and switch back to a 3/4. Petine leaves, we go back to 4/3 wide nine with Swartz. Then Rex comes and we over hall everything to move back to a 3/4. There is no way we can look at personal move in such a vacuum without considering the coaching staff. The biggest problem for Whaley is that he has never been given the ability to freely select his own head coach. Does anyone think he choose Marone or Rex. This team is far more talented on both sides of the ball than anytime within the last 5 years. Fans and the Bills management always want to fire the person that has actually done his job. It's time Whaley demand to the owners that he be allowed to do his job and get the coach he is comfortable with developing the talent that is clearly on this team. It doesn't matter how he acquires talent, draft , free agency... who cares. Tim graham is a unprofessional loser, that why he is back at the buffalo news instead of major national outlet writing crappy articles with a clear agenda. Every true Bills fan should know that article was not worth paper it was written on when Graham said Doug Marone wanted Fitz to be his quarterback...Really.. wake up BILLS FAN

  2. this team is so close but yet so far. The reason is for this dilemma is the coaching staff. Is Rex the genius he proclaims to be? The answer is clearly no. Mike Pettine and the defensive coordinator in KC clearly are better defensive coaches than Rex. In fact Rex was not the defensive coordinator when the Raves won the super bowl. what Rex inherited with the Ravens were great players who was already developed. When he got to the Jets, Revis was already there. The last six years has showed that Rex is not good at developing talent. he needs dominant players in their prime to run his defense. With the Raven he had Lewis and Reed. With the Jets, Revis and Scott.. Here he has WHO? Rex is to stubborn to realize this . That's why he is sticking with Tyrod and a run first offense. He wants to win his way, for him and his brand of ground and pound to prevail. He is more loyal to his self image than the team. This is why we have an undisciplined selfish team every Sunday. Its come from the coach. If every fan watching on TV could see the STEELERS, stacking the box, run blitzing and begging our quarterback to throw the ball down the field, why can't the coaches? Listening to David LEE on the John Murphy show, he talked about the staff asking Tyrod to throw the ball in certain areas to be more aggressive, but he is not. Is Tyrod coachable? or is he doing what the head coach wants. Only if Rex gets above his ego and do what's best for the team can the bills take the next level. If not, then management have to make the decision for him. DILEMMA

  3. look the secondary as a whole has not look good. Name one player besides White who has been solid. This kid is playing great if he can stay healthy Even when this defense was great Robey has been a liability. he is too small, should only play if four and five receiver sets. This defense is close to putting it all together

  4. the obvious is for Mr. Fatso to ern is money...But I have had enough of Robey Coleman in the slot corner position, Where he always seems to get abuse when we play good teams .Its time to move him out a play White in the slot. Robey killed this defense all night. Even Gruden commented on how lost he looked. He is too small.

  5. I am usually dumping all over Rex, but last night was one of his better efforts. Not is fault our secondary can't seem to communicate. They left receivers running free all night. Don't even mention the best player on defense not playing again. This team has talent and can play with anyone in the league especially if Tyrod plays consistently. Rex and Whaley will be back, barring a complete melt down. if Tyrod plays this way for the rest of the year, then the decision to pick up that option should be easy

  6. Some players have it and others don't. Who don't remember that drive EJ lead in his rookie year. I remember the drive against Cleveland before he got hurt, the second game against the jets. Hell the game in London when we all agree he played terrible in the first half. I have more confidence in EJ to brings us back from a deficit than Tyrod. EJ showed more in his rookie season than Tyrod. Tyrod is great with protecting the ball...that's it. so my comment about guts, is about facing adversity and rallying the team to a win. Besides a crappy Titans team, when else has Tyrod showed that.

  7. The bills are on the hook for all of Marcel guaranteed money, Chargers could renegotiate that deal for cap relief. I honestly believe Rivers would consider waving his no trade clause to come here. With Shady, Sammy, McCoy and improve offensive line, we have weapons. how many young rookie quarterbacks beat New England? Send Jim Kelly to recruit if we have too. Rivers makes the Bills super bowl contenders right now.. Even Rex can't screw that up

  8. I am saying this now, if the bills don't win one of the next two games, Tyrod will be benched for EJ Manuel. please remember the bills have the option for next year. I would assume that Tyrod contract is tradable. if any teams out there think they can get a young upcoming QB for that price, there might be some takers. We finally get to evaluate EJ. Bills fans act like the team can't resign him. I say as long as Whaley is the GM anything is possible. personally at the end of the season we should trade TYROD, MARCEL AND A FIRST ROUND PICK FOR PHILLIP RIVERS... You heard it first..

  9. Another poor decision by the bills to gave Mr. Fatso that big contract. When he was a rookie Brayan Scott ask Dareus what kind of player he want to be. does he want to be a good ole boy from the country that made some money in the NFL, or does he want to be one of the best, a hall of fame player.. Dareus told him we will see. we have seen a selfish big kid who has gotten his money and have left this fan base and organization hanging. the bills have lost to three mediocre teams that a guy with his talent may have been the reason for us to win. He is the main reason for this team failure this season. The fans care more than this guy. so why in hell should anyone feel sorry for him. Show up and play to your ability.

  10. instead of admiring the run, which we all do. Look at the entire play and you will see that he runs out of the pocket when he doesn't have too. its the reason the coaches talk about him giving the play time to develop. with his height its tuff for him to get comfortable behind the big guys... hence hardly any throw over the middle of the field...

the only thing Tyrod does a lot better than EJ is protect the football... EJ fumbles too much .... I don't mind interception for young QB, as long as it is not in scoring areas. TYROD is not horrible, I just don't think is upside is better than EJ... I am looking at size, arm strength and the ability to play in buffalo come December and January...

  11. remember the jets game and how poorly the defense played...the next day on that show it was all about the offense and how they have to sustain drives, the defense was bad but the offense kept them on the field, even though the offense score over 30 points. then out of thin air Greg Roman is fired... he played that narrative to the fan base, too soften that news and take the focus of Rex and his defense...

  12. do you guys realize every time the bills is upset at a player or done with them, the first person to call them out is JOHN MURPHY...Last year after the game in London he loudly proclaim I am done with EJ Manuel.. granted EJ played poorly, but did he mention how horrible the defense played that day, especially giving up the winning touchdown drive.. Now on the trade deadline him and his new side kick jumps all over Gilmore... these guys are still on the team, Murphy works for the bills, does he ever intend to talk to these guys again... on the flip side Dareus has had a horrible season but he is celebrating his return. not once discussing how this guy has lets down the fans, organization and teammates. Murphy is the mainly defender of all the lousy bills head coaches until they leave. He defended Marrone until he quit on the bills, then he could even mention his name.. That's why he was done with EJ after London. Through all the changes over the years, the one constant is Murphy and Chris Brown. I find this guy to be so unprofessional and always wonder why players and fans tolerate is bias, one-sided organizational view point. but if you want to know what the organization is thinking listen to this guy... So bye, bye Gilmore and EJ, hope you guys find better success somewhere else

  13. Watson at 2, chad Kelly at 5, both guys are not good pro prospects. Watson can't read coverage and chad Kelly is a turnover machine. Kelly is aggressive/tuff but not smart... he will be there in second or third round. I think Watson goes back for another year, not ready yet

  14. I was saying the exact same thing when we beat four mediocre teams. and yes a lot of people squander opportunities, but my question to you.. are the bills team better this year without Karlos... especially short yardage.... just like most situations in life people are generally successful because of who they know instead of what they know and performance. Is Mills better than Cyrus right now... I say no..... but he is a Kromer guy..... EJ sucks after 16 games, but Tyrod doesn't after 22 games and he has had more weapons than EJ can dream off.... but Tyrod is a REXX guy.. The bottom line is everyone can see that EJ has the make up to be the quarterback the bills need. bigger, stronger , mobile, can deal with the weather because of his hands.... but he is a Whaley guy.... and Whaley has no say over the coach, therefore he couldn't insist that EJ plays and get the experience he need.... in pro-sports the difference a lot of great players succeeding is for someone to believe in them at the right place, right time

  15. I always thought Simms was better than Clay...Was hoping Miami matched that stupid contract, so Simms would have been free. Tyrod barely throw in the middle of the field, clay has been nicked up from the beginning.... seems timing between him and Tyrod is off. grossly overpaid

  16. I agree he effed up.. My point on contention is a lot of guys still on this team effs up every week with their actual play on the field... the guys who beat him out besides mike are not contributing anything to the team... Williams has done nothing, wasn't active for most of the year... Reggie Bush is finish, everyone can see that... you had a young productive back who effed up... any good company would realize that and support that person, especially one who is proven to be productive. you can't tell me that would not have payed dividends for us in the Miami game... Rex tried to send a message but it was wrong, just as wrong as forcing or letting McCoy play in that Miami game... Rexx had no confidence against Brady that's why shady played and risked the entire season

  17. doug whaley is a great scout.... to be real GM you have to have control over hiring the coaches and acquiring talent... when the coach reports to the owner and not the GM, there is no accountability between GM and coach... especially if the owner have no football experience... considering where this team was talent wise, when Nix and Whaley took over, he deserves to keep his job... do anyone believe he signed off on this harvin move? this move is all Rex, who reports to the OWNER

  18. natrone means, Jerome bettis..... these guys were fat... one is in the hall of fame.... Dareus is fat and not in football shape... its all about production...the bills reward losers aka dan carpenter... why is he still kicking for this team... dareus would have never received that contract from pats...
