What is the mass appeal to the LGBQTRSTUVWXYZ ?

Someone explain it to me ?

They generally think as the group thinks to be accepted.Just ask them the most benign question about policy and they wont have a clue. Better yet, switch things around for example ,tell them that the Republicans believe in Global warming but Joe Biden thinks it's a hoax and watch them agree that its a hoax even though they are democrats. They are sheep.

  2. I still go, I always ask the priest if he wants to go first or should I........

If someone has more than three warning points, does that make him a TBD sinner?

    Asking for a friend.

Nah it generally means the moderators don't like you

  3. Watching at home is nice and all. But, going to at least one game a year is special too me. I don't know, there is just something about being there.

Yep I agree, where else can you see drunk-high people do swan dives onto folding tables and adults verbally abusing other folks in front of their children and vomiting on the stairs. There is surely something about being there.

None as usual. I am disabled and it is to hard for me to get around the stadium and to make matters worse the last game I attended about 7 years ago I was consistently harassed by security for parking in the handicapped lot even when I was checked by the sheriff at the gate before entering. To me it is not worth it so I stay home and watch on TV and I don't have to worry about being such a burden to stadium security or anyone else.

I hate hearing stuff like this. Idiots

  4. I find myself getting caught up in the doom and gloom at times, I must admit. But the more I look at the statistics, the changes made, the people brought in to replace those who left, the new coaching staff in place, and what we still have I am starting to have more of a glimmer of hope for this year.

On offense we still have our whole OL intact, with the addition of a potential upgrade at RT in Dawkins. This is the rushing attack that was #1 in the league last year. We still have Tyrod, Shady, Sammy(who should be 100%), and Clay. Tyrod is not really my guy, but I have said we can win with him. He is also going into this year un a familiar system with Dennison at the helm. For all of the talk about how great Prescott was last year, he only averaged around 40 more yards passing per game than Taylor. You throw in Zay Jones, Holmes, Brown, Streater, and I think we have a better WR group than 2016. People also talk about the loss of TD Mike, but backups have been plug and play for us the last couple of years. Hopefully a healthy J Will takes those reigns. There is no reason to believe this unit should not be better than last year. We need healthy starters. That is the key. A full 16 from Sammy, Tyrod, Shady, and Clay. Hopefully the heavens smile upon us in that regard this year.

On defense we are heading back to the 4-3, the perfect fit for our personnel on defense. Letting the 4 guys get after it up front is gonna be huge. Imo, it is not out of the realm of thinking that all 4 of these guys could make the Pro Bowl. People will say Shaq is an unknown, he looked lost last year, it was a bad pick. I will say that I watched him dominate in a 4-3 at Clemson and I think you will see him take a huge step forward this year. People will say we don't have a Kuechley or Thomas Davis on this defense. I will say that we have a healthy Ragland, a great signing in Hodges, a better fit in a 4-3 in Preston Brown, and the ageless wonder in Alexander. Outside of 3 really bad performances last year they were solid against the run even with the Ryan buffoons calling the defense. The main question is how the Secondary performs. Micah Hyde was a huge get for us, but is Poyer gonna be able to hold down that other S spot? Which Darby will we get? The rookie version that was better than Gilmore or the 2nd year version that looked lost at times? Is White the real deal? From all accounts he was outstanding in the offseason workouts. How does the rest of the depth chart fill out? Again hopefully we get some good fortune with injuries, but I expect a top 10 unit to be on the field for us again in 2017.

In summary I think we are overall a better team from a coaching standpoint alone by shedding the dead weight of the Ryan's. The system changes that fit our personnel, the familiar offense for Tyrod, and the additions we made will upgrade this team despite how some view the losses of Gilmore and TD Mike. Hopefully it all comes together, but to me this team seems different than those I had hopes for in years past. I may be throwing in the towel by the end of October, but for now I think this may be the year the drought finally ends.

One last note to throw in there. If Tyrod throws for another 40 yards a game we have a top 10 offense last year. If not for the meltdowns on defense twice against the Dolphins and once against Pittsburgh we have a top 10 defense. The only team to be top 10 in both last year? The team that won the SB, the New England Patriots. Here's to hope in the offseason.

Ok for one, my son isn't with a teenager all day at daycare. My child is in great hands with teachers that care for him and teach him. The couple of hours you mention, it isn't about the time, it's about what you do with that time. and your last sentence is completely out of whack, I don't argue from a position of guilt, I argue from the position that your statement is hollow and has nothing to support it at all.

My statement is hollow? Really? So a child isn't better off by far being raised by a parent instead of a teacher? You really trying to make that argument?

    Exactly!

"Here's 2 bucks, go play pinball... I gotta cash my check and talk to a few guys."

    ;-)

Man I guess I;m out of the mainstream today.I never brought my daughters to a bar and told them to go play.I think I understand who I'm dealing with here so I'm done.

  6. And they can cook and clean too...

    My god

Yeah see, this is the problem. If someone suggests that a Mother should nurture and be there for a child then that is somehow demeaning to women, ridiculous.Just try and substantiate that a child is better off spending the majority of their day with a teenager at a daycare and then after being ''picked up" by a parent spending an hour or two a day before bedtime.Even an animal stays with their young until they are self sufficient.Wonder why teenagers today need to be medicated at record numbers? Think about it. The people that argue the strongest on this issue are arguing out of a position of guilt, pure and simple.

This is why REAL MOMS raise their own children and don't dump them at a daycare. If people lived a family driven priority lifestyle moms wouldn't get into debt and then claim "Today a household requires 2 paychecks".I know several families that made the decision to put their children first. They don'y have 2 new cars in the garage and a new home but the children sure are better for it.

  8. Another season is over and the playoff drought continues. Despite the overall failure I enjoyed sharing another Bills season with people on this board. I'm definitely not that active during the off season but I still check this site weekly. Regardless of what happens vs. the Jets now, and despite Rex's failures, I truly believe something good came out of his failed tenure here: Lynn and the offense. Yes, Lynn has had a couple (not many, but more than one) of play calls where we all scratched our heads, but overall, despite all of the injures (Wood, Glenn, every single one of our starting WR except for Goodwin really and Shady for a couple of games) this offense has been an unexpected revelation.

With Rex gone now, and Lynn as the interim HC, I'm not sure what's going to happen with Lynn nor am I sure what I want to happen. In an ideal world I'd want Lynn to remain as the OC, and we bring in a HC to right this ship who will be able to work with Lynn. But I fully realize that a new HC is going to want to bring in his own guys.

This is a scary situation b/c it's similar to what happened with Schwartz (you can argue that it was only one really good year, but fact remains it was a really good year). Our defense was rolling under Schwartz while our offense was sputtering. Rex came in and the wheels came off the defense while the offense got on track. Now the role is reversed, and I do not want to see the same thing happen to Lynn's offense that happened to Schwartz's defense. I do not know what the best solution is and that's why I don't get paid millions of dollars to work for the Bills, but somehow, some way, this offensive system needs to be kept intact going forward.

    The numbers DO NOT LIE

    1. In 2015, under Roman we ranked 12th in the NFL in scoring; and 24th in red zone offense.

    2. Since week 2, under Lynn we ranked 6th in the NFL (351pts) and 2nd in the AFC in scoring (above Oakland [347pts] and 1 point below New England [352pts]); overall we rank 7th in the NFL in scoring for 2016 (for the entire season including Roman).

    3. Red zone offense (TD's only): We rank 5th in red zone offense; 2nd in the AFC.

    4. Points per play (the number of points a team scores for each play they run which gives an estimate as to how efficient a team is at converting their plays into points): We rank 6th in the NFL and 2nd in the AFC only behind Oakland.

    5. Touchdowns per game: We rank 3rd in the NFL and #1 in the AFC in touchdowns per game. In other words, we're not racking up points with FG's. This offense scores TD's.

    6. Turnovers: We are #1 in the NFL with the least amount of turnovers.

(Of note, this offensive production was put up despite having a Defense that ranked 21st in the NFL in takeaways. Every offense ahead of us in scoring pts/game (Atlanta, NO, Oak, Dal, NE, GB) had defenses that had more takeaways than us.)

Folks, this is an ELITE OFFENSE. Whatever the front office decides to do, I'd hate to see this system broken up. Lynn has to stay, somehow, some way. The offense was decent under Roman, but there is no question that Lynn took what was there and improved it considerably.

Keep Lynn, upgrade RT, have a healthy WR corps next year (especially Sammy) with more quality depth, pick up TT's option, and let the good times roll.

The defense and special teams, that's another thread for another day.

AND we missed the playoffs. You forgot the stat that we only beat MOST of the bad teams on our schedule and were outclassed against the good teams. What exactly are you interested in keeping intact????
