Omar Khan is in over his head - this offseason has proved as much.

Being in Pittsburgh, its  crazy to see how mismanaged two of the most prestigious pro franchises have been HORRIBLY managed these past couple years (Steelers and Pens).

Steeler country is in disbelief, I wouldn't be shocked to see a major change of the guard in Pittsburgh next year.

From the few Steelers’ fans I know, this is one move they like. They feel Fitzpatrick is on the decline, which I disagree with to the extent you move on.

They feel Ramsey or Slay transition to a safety role.

    What are your thoughts?

It's just a different type of fandom. I'm the guy who posted a thread here the day after the Dalton miracle saying "don't hate the drought". Life isn't just about the destination. It is about the journey too. Sports are the same to me.

    Well said Bill.

I enjoyed the drought years thoroughly, weird I know. There was something about not having an expectation to win when you have one of the most generational talents at the most important position on the field.

Winning is great but knocking a team off when you’re a perennial underdog or underachiever is just as awesome.

    Still, thank goodness for Josh!

One thing is for sure: If you play a game anywhere other than your or your opponent's stadium, it should count as a road game for both teams.  I loathe us 'hosting' a game in London and it counts as a home game on our schedule.

And the talk is the Bills are on the short list for the Steelers international “home” game in Ireland…

    Ooooof

If we don’t sign him to a reasonable extension, Beane is going to tag him

With the contracts they have extended last year and this offseason, I’d begin to think that as well. The only guy I can see being tagged outside of Cook is Bosa. Even then that’s a huge task and probably unlikely given what he would be signed for and the return on the compensatory pick.

Should get immediate playing time at Edge

maybe he splits with Bosa 50/50

    Bosa

    Rousseau

    Landon Jackson

    (Hoecht)

Epenesa vs Solomon vs UDFAs for the last spot on active 53.

Epenesa is a trade possibility IMO

Think so. He’s filling the Von snaps imo, so 30-40%?

Someone posted that his play makes AJE obsolete and tradable. I’m starting to think that as well.

Johnson is getting up there in age for a CB. Getting his potential replacement and someone that can take reps if he gets hurt again is a smart play

Taron has been one of my fav players for this regime that’s obviously not named Josh. Guy has been premium at his position though last year the consistency of quality appeared to drift. Think he’s got another 2-3 years of play at the absolute most but hopefully they have some plan of succession for next season.

Was hoping for Jahdae Barron to make it to 30. Kid is going to be a stud and can line up anywhere.

  7. For the league?

Mykel Williams (49ers) or Abdul Carter (Giants) for DROY

    Ashton Jeanty for OROY

Rookie of the year for Buffalo? Think it turns out to be Landon Jackson. 8.5 sacks on the year.

The thing is these posts I believe are from 2022.

How did guys like Dane Brugler who knows what crayon colors were some 7th round punters favorite in kindergarten not talk about this more?  The other guys with issues its right out in front.

I can only think that maybe it isn’t him? This is honestly the first I’m ever hearing of such a blemish on MH’s background… like you said it’s front and center on anything with a guy getting drafted, let alone a kid who is automatically pencilled as a round 1 or 2 draft pick.

They took a swing on Cooper last year.  There might still be something up their sleeves.

You think they inquire about Pickens or Jameson Williams if indeed they are up for trade?

I know they come with some potentially huge baggage/issues but both are legit and proved so in this league.

one just can’t do it consistently because of his attitude. the other because of health.

He is undersized and ran incredibly slow. Apparently word was he was a bad interview too for a lot of teams. Loved him early on but not surprised he went UDFA

oh, I didn’t realize he bombed the interview process.

weird that no one took a late flyer as his ball skills were pretty solid during his collegiate career.

If we are going by undersized being part of the issue then Upton Stout should be drafted? He’s smaller and tested almost just as bad in the 40 & 10 split..
good thing Hairston ran fast then cause he’s about the same size as Bryant lol

also, Dorian strong isn’t that far off either.

Sort of pleased for Ewers. He deserved to be drafted but.... the Dolphins??? Poor lad.

Hope you don’t look as miserable as the family did on his drafting…

Yikes, I know it wasn’t ideal or hoped to go that late in the draft for Quinn (and his family) but man… he’s one of the very few who get drafted into the league. 😕
