  1. 10W-37L to 25W-25L, with two bowl wins and a 1st place tie in the BE this year. I'm good with that.
  2. I like the choice. Marrone's a coach with NFL and college experience. He's had success at just about every stop. His offenses have been solid. He's shown the ability to develop a quarterback. He's demonstrated a willingness to adjust his offensive philosophy to suit personnel and conditions. Anybody else notice how well ground and pound worked in the Yankee Stadium snow? This was a dome team, folks, a dome team that had been a pass-first offense. Throw in the facts that his defenses have been competent and that he's never been fired. I'm optimistic.
  3. I agree with your thoughts on Levi Brown. He has physical tools, some smarts, and seems to have intangibles. Let's see what Chan and company can do. Wouldn't it be nice if "7" - as in 7th round - turned out to be the Bills' lucky number? Stevie Johnson, Demetrius Bell, Levi Brown, Michael Jasper...
  4. My comparison is based on his size, style, and the type of ball he throws. While not mobile, he'll stand in there to the last to deliver a perfect pass. I'm just surprised that there's been so little coverage. Chappell's name doesn't even appear in today's Buffalo News write-up.
  5. Anybody see the Indiana/Michigan game yesterday? Denard Robinson was the focus of the coverage. Meanwhile, Indiana's QB Chappell was throwing the ball all over the field to the tune of 480 yards, and reminding me an awful lot of Jim Kelly in his prime. Chappell doesn't seem to be on any of the NFL scout's radar. I'm thinking next year's QB draft night be even deeper than advertised.
