Can we get two 5th round picks for our 4th round pick?
Which teams have two or more 5th round draft picks this year?

So my 7 picks in the 5th strategy is not finding favour here.

I did some math using the traditional Draft Value Chart.
The Bills have the following draft picks today:
4th Round — 28th pick of the round (128th overall)
5th Round — 6th(141) + 9th(144) + 25th(160) + 28th(163)
6th Round — 28th(204)
7th Round — 1st(221)
If the Bills were to trade their 4th, 6th and 7th round picks, they may be able to acquire 3 more 5th round picks for a total of seven 5th round picks.
The 5th round has always been Beane’s sweet spot.
OK…I will resume drinking now.

when did the Bills get a 3rd?
I missed it as well. -

After the trades - they have 2 2nds, a 3rd, and a 4th - plus a bunch of 5ths - 7ths.
NFL.com has not updated with a 3rd pick.

It's definitely concerning. Beane has to draft two WRs in the second and third rounds tomorrow, right?
The Bills have no 3rd draft picks.
Two 2nd round draft picks, one 4th round pick and pretty much the entire 5th round of picks.

If the Bills can trade the 33th pick for a 5th 5th round draft pick, then the Bills can draft 5 WRs in the 5th round and we can have an incredible Training Camp Battle to see which one of the 5 WRs is the 6th WR on this year’s roster.
I am pumped!!!

I grilled 9 lbs of chicken wings yesterday and then tossed them in 3 different hot sauces so I have plenty left over for tonight.
I froze homemade dim sum dumplings a while back and may get the double bamboo steamer loaded up with a bunch of that as well.
Definitely Craft IPAs as the beverage.
I really do need to time an afternoon nap since I expect the Bills not to draft until after 11:00 PM and my ManCity team has a 3:00 PM game today.
Debating nap strategy.

If no real #1 WR falls to us in the 1st round and the WRs available when we draft in the 2nd round are projects to ever be #1 WRs, then if we get out of the first rounds with a Centre and a 1DT, I would be a happy man.

DT is a great idea. I don’t understand why fans hate DL so much.
A truly elite 1DT next to Ed Oliver would enable Oliver to take the next leap forward in his development and become the internal disruptor he was in college.
If a real #1 WR does not fall to us in the 1st round, I like the idea.

As much as I detested Von's contract, I do like the Bills have so far not kicked that money down the road by pushing his 2024 salary cap into subsequent years.
Might as well bite it this year and keep the future intact.

If Ed Oliver fits the definition then I am going with Ed Oliver.
If the Bills can acquire a very good to elite 1DT to play next to Oliver, then I think we see the inside disrupter that Oliver was in college.

I would like to start discussing things we should do this September for the 25th Anniversary Tailgate... Current ideas:
- Shirts with a 25th logo
- Looking at a Dinner Cruise
- Golf tournament
- Bottle of Blanton awarded to best tailgate sandwich (inside joke)
- etc...
Looking for a discussion on activities, venues, etc....
Please take off-topic conversations elsewhere. Much appreciated.
1. Shirt = NO Brainer. Will e-mail funds to acquire even if I cannot attend the event.
2. Dinner Cruise = If in Canada, sure. Is there anything in Canadian Niagara Falls of Niagara on the Lake?
3. Golf = Just don't have the balance in the right leg since the MVA to golf without the oppressive frustration of remembering how much I enjoyed it when I was decent.
4. Sandwich Contest = I don't joke about Sandwich Making. To me, it is a serious topic. Sandwich is my life. Bring it on Bee..otch.
5. Etc. = Lundy's Lane for live entertainment?

I still think THE best part of last night’s game was Alicia Keys’ ass.
I found some analysis on it.

I am in Argentina and there is no interest in the game here.
I took a 16 year old nephew through a 21 minute highlight package of last year’s Superbowl game on YouTube to explain the rules of the game to him.
He is now even less interested.
Monday and Tuesday are holidays here for Carnival so a party would set up nicely here.
I suspect it will be a family asado here and retire to my hotel room to watch the second half of the game in Spanish if the game is close. We are two hours ahead so a 8:25 PM start here gets me in front of a TV around 10:30 PM.

The wife is a Seahawks fan and we plan on flying out of Toronto to Vancouver and then taking the train to Portland for a couple of days before taking the train back up to Seattle for a couple of days and the game before flying back to Toronto from Vancouver.
Any speculation as to when that game may be?

It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you all know the doctors can’t do anything more for my beautiful wife. She had a massive stroke on Saturday night (on top of the massive aneurysm on Friday night) and we have decided to remove her air tube on Wednesday morning.
This has taught me so much. First, how much I truly loved and depended on my wife. Second, how precious life is. Third, don’t say, do, or have actions that you might regret. Fourth, football is just a game.
We all love the Bills and have different ways that we think they need to go, but in the end, none of it matters. Hold tight the ones you love. Don’t sweat financial issues, stay close to your spouse, and just flat out do the very best you can.
With love…Scott and Jill Whorley
