The opposite is letting the NFL office sit on "ammo" that they can use to blackmail and control and threaten people with releasing if they do not fall in line with their bidding.

If they are going to leak emails, they need to release all the emails at once. Rip the band-aid off.

It isnt to witch hunt folks, or to cancel as many people as possible, but rather to take that away from the NFL office.

no, I care about the non-offensive irrelevant emails from people that won’t get them cancelled.  It’s a complete invasion of privacy and is a ridiculous thing to release.

Hope they release all the emails. Let’s be upfront and honest to the public and fans. A lot of people on the NFL are shaking in their boots right now and Om sure many owners and execs are. Expose them all!

Everyone wanting all personal emails leaked, with no regards to relevancy, should first share all your private emails.

    we’ll wait

Neither Josh, nor Mahomes, is an MVP contender at the moment.  As it stands right now, Brady is running away with it and there isn't even a close 2nd.  Josh and Mahomes are definitely not in the top 5.

But I couldn't give a rat's ass.  The MVP I want Josh to get will be handed out the evening of Feb. 13th.

a lot of odds setters have josh as THE favorite.  So I respectfully disagree

Not the same.  Entertainers get more leeway for artistic expression (I would guess), no different than comedians.

Bill Burr, who I love, can do a bit about domestic violence and make it funny.  No one with an ordinary job could get away with that.

Dr Dre has beaten a lot of women.  That’s not artistic expression.

you should read the statements from these women and their injuries

One Buffalo Bill made the list: NFL Pressure Index

As a team, the Bills rank 6th in pressure rate (8.3%), but with the amount of investment in the defensive line over the last couple years, should it be a concern that only Rousseau (12.5%; 30) is among the top 50 players?

It is interesting that Cam Heyward (12 pressures; single game high) and Deron Payne (10 pressures) wouldn’t be in the top 50 either if not for their monster performances against the Bills.

Also, the 200KB restriction for images is so tiny! Not sure I’ve ever seen below 600KB, so apologies if the table comes in a little fuzzy.

I like the part where you say the bills are one of the best…and then ask if we should be concerned because of an arbitrary point.

Thanks for your support ***** birds. I can not like it and wonder how to make it better and be grateful for it and  be critical of it. Life isn’t black and white or good vs evil ya ding dongs.

If he posted here, both sides would mock Jesus. We can be better and have better debates but not at the moment.

You have no idea what I do.

If you read my post nominating myself to moderate you read it wrong. I have a life. I see we’re finding no unicorns. Shocker.

Arguing in this thread may disqualify you

  7. I’ll gladly take the job!

I think we should invite some of our old friends back who left.  Not moderate based on politics.  Respect the mantra that this forum has traditionally self-moderated and has a higher threshold for argumentative posts.

And only moderate on what needs  to be removed: (1) poor-intentioned trolls: and (2) the unacceptable—revealing personal information, pedophilia conspiracies against board members, etc.

we honestly need just a few people to lead by example.  The level of discourse here has really dropped

  8. It’s two entirely different questions?

what are your personal thoughts on abortion?

what do you think the government’s role should be with abortions?

as someone who believes in small government and limited government interference, I can’t reconcile that with believe in the government should be meddling with abortions.  The hypocrisy is laughable.

I love living in Texas for a lot of reasons, and one is because the limited government.  The state’s abortion law is very un-texas

Why people keep saying that cuts are brutal? I know that we have overall strong roster but its not like we are cutting starters or something. They are imo 2-3 really tough decisions and one of them was already made yesterday. What is so tough now? Maybe one DL cut, one WR cut and Taiwan Jones situation?

Almost everybody who we cut today will either be out of NFL or on our practise squad.

I do get that all cuts are tough from the human point of view obviously, but that is another discussion.

Oo me me!  Please bet me all the money that all of the players we cut will be out of the nfl or on our practice squad

A rookie on a rookie scale waiting until 2 weeks before camp to sign spells agent hardball to me.  What could they have been holding out for, a better parking spot?

The NFL and NFLPA are fed up with Cole Beasley on his anti-vaccine stance. At this point, he is pretty much daring the Bills to cut him.  I happen to think there is more to his actions than a mere anti-vaccine stance. This has not been stated anywhere else but I think his 2021 compensation has a lot to do with it.

The guy was voted to the Second Team All-Pro and had the best stats of any  slot receiver in 2020. And he played the post-season on a cracked fibula.

His 2021 compensation is 5.8 mill in new cash with just 500K guaranteed. It is pretty low for a receiver go got ya nearly 1000 yards last year. The Bills signing an older and less productive (2020) receiver for 6 million must have been pretty brutal.

The more I think about it, he is not going to be back in a Bills uni without a fresh deal. And you know what - I think the guy deserves it! I think this whole anti-vaccine stance will be resolved quickly once Beane opens Da Bills' purse strings. So BOLO for a fresh deal for Beasley.

how does decreasing one’s value and daring a team to cut him…increase his contract value?

I didn't think there was here. At least not the civil cases I have been involved with. A poster posted a link that they do, however that was in Texas. So maybe some states do and some don't. Anyways...

There are jury trials for virtually all civil cases in all states.  Small claims courts vary by state, but a lot can still have juries.

like criminal trials, parties can agree to a bench trial which is just a judge with no jury.  But it isn’t very common, this is a guess, but it may be more common in criminal trials than general civil trials (excluding types that is general practice to not have a jury) to not have a jury.  I could be very wrong on the last point
