  1. Is this like reverse psychology or something?
  2. Can we just get through this game without any key injuries? Please?
  3. Just amazing. Amazing. I get choked up periodically throughout all of this, but the recent incredible news really got me! Way to go, Damar! Can’t begin to imagine the joy his family is feeling.
  4. If Bengals handle the Ravens, they might actually favor the 3 seed against Ravens again, instead of 2 seed against New England…. Remember NE probably should’ve beaten Cincy a couple weeks ago..
  5. Thanks, friend. Situations like this can really put a lot into perspective, while truly bringing out the best in many people. I commend and thank the Bengals organization, players, fans, and of course medical staff. A man’s life was saved on that field. I have felt connected with the Bengals since Andy Dalton broke the curse for Buffalo… and always find myself rooting for Cincy (when it’s not against the Bills). Last night showed a level of class that you only wish could be the standard. As mentioned a million times, it’s way bigger than football.. and I hope when Damar regains his health, he’ll realize how for a few days at least, he eliminated rivalries, ill will and pettiness… and united a world under one word.. love.
  6. I felt like that last night, and if the team didn’t want to play, I would happily support that. If they try to play, and fall flat on their faces, I think everyone would understand. But I think given the adversity all season, this is a special and tight-knit team. I think they’ll want to band together and finish the season… and who knows what some extra inspiration will do? I’m not expecting this by any stretch… but what an incredible story it would be to show them overcoming and winning the Super Bowl for Damar.
  7. The Bills have been fighting the football God all season. This a-hole football God could start making things right… with Hamlin walking out of the hospital soon.
  8. Agree 100%.. but you and I both know, in a few days, if this is the outcome and the Chiefs miss their #1 seed, there will be outrage… and all of a sudden the focus won’t be on Hamlin anymore, but the #1 seed. It’s the ugly reality.
  9. Because Chiefs Nation will go ballistic. Not that I care about that..
  10. Hold the Bengals to a field goal there… march back down and score a TD… 10-10 on two possessions each. Cincy got ball first. We were struggling on defense, but our offense moved the ball with ease too. If Beas makes that catch, it’s a tie game when postponed. Whatever though… You can’t hand the Bengals a win 1/8 of the way through the game… unless they mandate the game must be played this week and Buff forfeits. I just don’t think the Bills care about a win at this point, nor should they. The NFL has a tough decision ahead… and many people will be upset by it… we will see true colors of fans of all teams, despite these same people claiming they only care about Damar.
  11. Man… I was doing the same thing. Waking up every hour, checking ESPN and saying ‘please don’t have bad news on it.’ I’m going to remain optimistic for now. I mentioned last night, and will say again, Ryan Clark and Scott Van Pelt were absolutely amazing… and should get some serious national recognition in how they handled this.
  12. Then forgive me. What does the 16 game plan entail? Honest question.
  13. Interesting.. So the only game next weekend would be the Bengals vs the Bills? Am I understanding what you’re saying?
  14. That’s interesting. Hadn’t thought about the trachea.
  15. Van Pelt and Clark are really doing a tremendous job navigating us all through this right now.
  16. You’re right about all that matters. But from a football solution standpoint, no idea what they’re going to do. I don’t know how they can get this game in. But I also don’t see how they can call it a draw. Had we scored a TD instead of 3, it’d be even more complicated with the score being 7-7. Instead it seems most likely scenario might be a loss for Buffalo, as the score was 7-3 when the game ended. But then again, you could say the Bengals got the ball twice and the Bills once. Who knows what the heck they’re going to do? Honestly, I don’t even care at this point. F it all. Just please walk out of that hospital, Damar.
  17. Nah I can’t see them moving playoff games and especially the Super Bowl.
  18. I hear you. But do you honestly think the Bengals are going to take a loss? Im as devastated as anyone else right now. But I don’t see how the above can happen.
  19. They can’t call this a draw or give both teams a win. They can’t just skip the game. There are way too many implications. For example (and F them), the Chiefs and their homefield. I think they’ll leave it to the Bills. Come back out and play, or essentially forfeit and take the loss. Or they postpone to another day this week. Don’t see any other solutions here. This is tragic.
  20. I’m no doctor.. but my brother’s good buddy is a heart surgeon and this is the first thing he thought of…. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commotio_cordis He is NOT saying this is what happened, but it’s scary as hell if it is. Just can’t believe any of this is happening to this poor kid right now.
  21. Maybe the fact that they can actually wait to get his mother is a good thing? God get him through this.
  22. May depend which Mike White shows up. Could be a 9-6 game.
  23. Gotta say I’m a little surprised given past events, but also glad to know the Fins are doing the right thing. Truly feel for Tua. The kid loves playing the game, and he very well may miss out on the big contract. I like the idea of him going to the booth. I could see him doing a great job as a commentator.
  24. The dolphins leadership cannot afford to miss the playoffs after an 8-3 start. I would be very shocked to see Tua not cleared for next Sunday’s game.
