Favre, Warner, Greene, Pace easy yes's.
Owens, Harrison, Lynch, Faneca barely yes's.
Dungy, Coryell, Anderson, Atwater, Jacoby just short.
James, Davis are you kidding me? Hell no.

go to sportrac.com and look at their contract details
Gronk is still on his rookie deal, and is due to make much more over the next few years
Edelman did nothing the first half of his career and they signed him to a cheap deal and he only emerged when Welker left
it's not about discounts or backroom deals, it's about a team that manages itself better than most

Look at the number of high profile first round picks they have on the roster (hint: very very low).
That's why they don't pay a lot.

When he let Sanchez suck his wife's toes is when he became a true player's coach.

If Vontaze Burfict becomes available due to his issues, should the Bills gamble on him? Or do you see him going crazy with the freedom Rex gives his players and in turn, doing more harm than good. He is clearly a great player and I think he is worth the risk. Get him, at probably a low cost high reward, and draft a game changing safety.
He's not as good as you think he is. He was MUCH better prior to his knee injury, and he's definitely lost some explosiveness and more importantly a bunch of lateral quickness after the injury.
I don't mind his issues, but I don't think he's a high quality player.

The Bills need help at ILB more than any other position.
Danny Trevathan
Keenan Robinson
Rolando McClain
Brandon Marshall/Paul Worrilow are RFA
They desperately need an established effective player at MLB leading the defense.

Wow, as if the Rex Show is not enough of a circus already...

Since the Bills last playoff appearance, the Steelers have:
- Played in nineteen playoff games
- Won twelve playoff games
- Captured the division title seven times
- Appeared in four conference championships
- Been to three Super Bowls
- Won two Super Bowls

Who knows if he is a "franchise" quarterback.
However, he's clearly shown enough that he should be the starter going into next season, and deserves an extension.
There are plenty of positions on this team that need MUCH more improvement than the QB.

Cardinals and Panthers say "No."

The GM is supposed to be the "football czar".

Subway Fresh Take!
Nothing fresh about this franchise. Somehow they've managed to stay an irrelevant talent graveyard for longer than should be possible.

The faces change, but the story remains the same.
It's a little different every year, but you always know the gist of what the Bills season will be about.
Some bright spots, some things to give you hope, but in the end it's just not good enough.
15 years and counting.

It sure makes it seem like his heart is in Philadelphia and he doesn't want to be in Buffalo. Even if that's true, he doesn't need to flaunt it in front of the world. At least pretend that you want to be a Bill when the cameras are on.

These guys are playing very well. I know there are cap considerations but they are going to have to pay SOMEONE to play on the O-line. Should have resigned Glenn last offseason. Should have extended Incognito midseason.
I fear for the O-line next year.

I find Taylor to be less sucky now.

Over the last 5 years, the Browns may have squandered more round 1-3 draft picks than any team has ever in a 5 year period. This is even worse than the Bills dark days. Wow.

TT is 28th in the league in passing yards per game.

Yep, the "rational" people think the Bills are a top football team, and the "five year olds" think they are a below average franchise and are tired of it.
-
Some of these recent ideas are atrocious.
Bring in Kaepernick? Wow, NO. I'm the one that made this thread about TT sucking, and I'd still rather have Tyrod than Kaep.
Bring Brees? Just find a way to clear $30M? NO. Get a grip on reality. What next, wave the magic wand and bring in Cam Newton?
Even if I hate to admit he's not as good as I hoped he was, Taylor is the best the Bills are going to do for the short term future. Ride with Taylor, pray that he improves but accept that it's not probable. Draft a guy with the intention of him sitting behind Taylor next year, and see how the 2016 season pans out. That's the reasonable option.
(this coming from the guy that started this thread)
I have no !@#$ing idea, but if a top 5 QB like Drew Bree's is available you make it work some how. I have no idea what true Bills cap situation is going to be in the offseason do you?
Have you heard of Google?
If you put in NFL Salary Cap, this site is the very first result.

Why can't you guys just admit that the Patriots are superior to the Bills in every way?
You get so fixated on "cheating" that it seems you can't be honest with yourself and admit that Brady and Belichick is the greatest QB/Coach combo of the last 20 years. Of course they are going to have success, and of course the Bills are going to consistently lose to them. It's like playing against Jordan.
It's like it personally impacts your own sense of self worth and self esteem somehow.

lol whatever you need to tell yourself buddy

Bills give up a 100 yard rushing back, two 100 yard receivers and very close to a third, 28 first downs, and almost 500 total yards of offense - and you guys want to B word about Taylor?
Of course he's not a top tier QB, he never has been. He's also total bottom of the barrel. He's a middle of the road kind of guy, and he led the offense to enough points to win.
The problem was the defense allowed Fitzpatrick to absolutely shred them.
