Why??? are you really asking why?, I’d “Splain” it to you, but I don’t think you deserve to know…,
Go Bills!!!
Well, from a Bills’ fan perspective, if this all this hate is because of the game last year, then I’m more upset with D-Hop’s arrogance then Murray’s pass. Also, being a lifelong Sooner, I do pull for the guy….just not against us.

Well for me, myself and I, being an Oakland A's fan, he was under contract with the A's, the top prospect in their system, about to make it to the Majors, and he totally turns his back on Oakland.
Ok, I feel you on that one. I would have loved to see him play baseball and watch him steal bases.

There’s a lot of Murray hate on this thread…..why?

I hope Daboll is watching the game so he can see what a running game will do for you.

Another coach trying to outsmart himself! Run the damn ball!!!

Great job! I appreciate an objective evaluation. I recall when some folks were complaining about Star’s Lotulelei not producing on the field. We all saw what happened last year when he wasn’t there. It’s not all about spectacular plays

All I can say is Beane has a pretty decent track record managing the club, and I feel like he has earned my trust until proven otherwise.

RUNNING BACK PLEASE!!!!!
Singletary is horrible and has been all year
It’s hard to tell if Singletary is horrible because Daboll won’t run the ball enough to find out. When he does run it’s the same stretch play that gets minimal yardage. No counters, traps or lead plays. I’m totally frustrated.

i dont disagree, mainly due to possible injury, but our running game was non existent and the line wasnt holding up well in pass protect either.
little curious y we didnt use any type of screen game to slow down their pass rush tho instead of the QB runs.
Our running game has been sub-par all year. It must change and fast if we are to continue advancing in the playoffs.

What an amazing win.
I’m so damn happy.
Anyone notice the complete lack of play action today?
Play action? No need in play action if you can’t run the ball.

Never spend a round 1 pick on a running back in a passing league.
Unless it’s a Saquan Barkley type talent.

I do think the Bills need to run more. The run game looked promising against the Cards but we didn't run enough.
I agree with this completely! We don't run enough to even keep a defense honest. Our runs appear to be token runs and aren't used to set up anything. I so pissed right now because we could have iced this game.

I am starting to see where we miss Star L.. He would at least require a double team that would free up others on the line.

The Rams should never complain about a call that went against them after that non-PI that they got in the NFC championship against New Orleans.

I wanted to the Bills to best the Patriots more than anyone, but after reading Twitter and some of the comments in here, I can’t help but feel that fans are overvaluing this loss to New England.
It would have been fun to beat New England but in the grand scheme, the Patriots were never losing to Miami next week. The Bills would be a 5 seed either way. I think that some fans don’t understand that this wasn’t for the AFC East Championship
In two weeks when we play Houston or KC, what effect would a win versus NE really have? Would a Bills victory over NE mean anything in the Wildcard round? Absolutely not.
Does the loss mean that they are any less likely not to pull off an upset? Probably not
Most fans won’t even think about this game in two weeks and just like the players they’ll be “onto Houston” or wherever else.
I also don’t seem this loss as having any effect on players. As great as the Bills fan base is, they are super reactionary, and many online are saying “this shows the Bills won’t ever win a playoff game. One and done.” WTF
Overall point here is either way, we would have been the 5th seed. This loss means nothing other than showing that the Bills might be a few players away from challenging for a Super Bowl, but overall they are trending upward
Phil, I do see your perspective and I appreciate you being rational about the situation.
For so many years we have been out of playoff contention by the second time we played NE, that I can see if those games didn't matter to the players. In this case, I do think that this would have gone a long ways for their confidence. Additionally, look at how we lost - couldn't stop the run, couldn't get to Brady - this has happened so many times that I'm sure they wonder if it will ever happen (beating the Patriots).

6 - Runningbacks - Am I crazy for thinking that Ivory should be starting and McCoy should be out there on 3rd or in multi-back formations? Ivory hits the holes quicker and harder. He picked up nice chunks of yards to the point where we should have kept at it with him. I like Shady and it's nothing against him, but our offensive line and supporting cast seems to point to Ivory being the better fit right now.
It appears that Ivory doesn't look for any holes to develop when he runs, but just plows ahead. I think I saw him get the ball on a 3rd and 1, and he didn't even wait or look for a hole...just ran into the back of his lineman and didn't get the 1st down. I haven't been encourage by our running game since Lynn was our coordinator.
I too, am frustrated with our offense. There's nothing that they do well enough that you can hang your hat on. They don't run one play that you could call it our base play we can depend on.

I like the way you think and it's not a bad plan.

More of a pros cons thread hammer.
I'm just saying if TT is the same guy he's been the past 2 years, 7-9 season is very very bad for this team.
I'm a long term thinker, not short term.
We luck up and get into the playoffs, we get curb stomped first round.

I think the 1991 Redskins are underrated.

That is why I still wish we had him. I felt like he was very capable of defending Gronk.

OK, so no playoffs for us. What do we look forward to next year?
