Infrared and UV divergences? Sure. I renormalize them, and get the mass and charge of an electron.
Not quantum physics. Cosmology. Still not tough...just a paucity of data.

The right question should be: Why oh why did we not start Flutie against the Titans back in "99". The answer to both questions please..... because Ralph Wilson is such a genius.
In a parallel universe, Flutie did start that game and the Bills went on to eventually lose their 5th Super Bowl in franchise history. These people are gearing up to settle the debate once and for all.

In my opinion, that hit on Edwards was dirty. The defender had his head into Edwards' chin, and continued to drive his helmet into Edwards while they were on the ground. I hope that S.O.B. get fined & suspended.

I saw that, and it was great to hear Marshall Faulk have to eat his words and give the Bills some props. No more of this "they need help on the offensive line" and "they'll win 4 games" crap we're so used to from Marshall.

Don't know if anyone else saw the segment with Stuartt Scott, Steve Young, and Emmit after the game tonight. When asked if the Bills were for real Emmit basically laughed and acted like we are horrible. Claimed that the Raiders are terrible at best and Buffalo has played no one this year. He made it sound like we'll probably finish about 4-12 this year. Of course when talking about the Cowboys he started beaming and all but awarded them the Lombardi trophy.
Not surprising at all... and I think we're all in agreement that Emmit sucks as an analyst, but all the same... what a MAROON!

Can you explain how and why Pittsburgh is "in a flux?"
And what veterans do you speak of? They have a very young QB still, they've added 1st and second round picks to the RB and WR positions in Mendenhall and Sweed, and still have a very young TE. On defense their first round pick a year ago (Timmons) still is a back up, and not because he isn't good either.
And you aren't sure what Cleveland's defense is like, but they're in first?
Lots of young talent with potential, but will that young talent translate into wins this year? Hines Ward is no spring chicken either.

And I can't say I disagree with him, either. Rice was obviously extraordinarily productive...but even though Moss hasn't reached that statistical level yet, he's utterly stunning in his abilities and one of the most phenomenal receivers I've ever watched.
Obviously you've only watched Rice play a handful of times. That's too bad.
