Brokers and people who resell get a raft of crap when games are in demand, but no one sheds a tear or cares when you're eating $6 tickets. Resellers serve as insurance to team owners. They ensure venues are fully sold while absorbing the fluctuations in pricing.

The teams make money on resales. Where do you think part of those massive add-on fees go?

See I think that’s a big part of the problem…resellers like Stub Hub were at one time just a means for one person to sell their ticket to another.  Whether the people involved  made a profit, broke even or lost money didn’t matter to Stub Hub as it  just collected its service fee for making it happen.
Now these companies buy up the tickets right when they come out, and turn a $150 face value ticket into a $300 ticket to anyone wanting to buy it.

Don’t you love how teams are weeding out season ticket holders who resell many games, only to sell their original inventory to ticket brokers?  Teams don’t care about people paying exorbitant prices for tickets, as long as they get a piece of the action.

Gotta say I don’t love ANY of it, but if I’d rather the club make the profit, as opposed to some middle-man reseller.   They are also the ones that have invested the most and have the most at risk.

Kind of amazing how different this team is than drought teams.

Back then, we might have one great receiver, two passable guys, and barely 2-3 more to round it out. If someone got injured, we would be in a tough spot.

Now, we will have to cut probably 3 guys who can probably start or get meaningful snaps for other teams.

Man, remember those teams when it was like Week 12?
We were usually 5-7 and still mathematically alive….but the dudes they had to trot out onto the field when the starter got injured were just so bad.

I'm starting to really get annoyed with OBL of late:

Steve Tasker, Chris Brown, and Maddy Glab are the biggest butt-lickers I've ever heard.

If you ask them this question: If the Bills have the best offense, score the most points, the most efficient why don't they win the super bowl?

They are so biased it's pathetic... They say 1 bad thing about the Bills they're fired

I think the term is either “butt-kisser” or “boot-licker”….. you’ve made a disturbing new one here.

Remember, Beane took a 1st round pick, and in just 3 years turned it into a trade up from 6th to 5th round.

Philly took Jalen Raegor one pick ahead of JJ, SF spent a bunch of picks on Trey Lance, and KC took CEH in the first round.
Good organizations adjust and move on.

It's hard to look at this as a great success just because we got a 5th round pick for him.

It seems too easily forgotten that before getting the 5th, we spent a 1st to get him.

Huh?  We’ve been gnashing teeth for 4 years about that 1st round pick!

  7. I didn’t hear much on the broadcast, but it looked to me like Humphrey intentionally went at Josh’s head on an early QB keeper.
Hollins then absolutely demolished him later in the game on a downfield block that I think knocked him out of the game.

    Coincidence??

The lengths they go through to ***** on Lamar is comical.

lol…no one is ***-ing on Lamar.  Just making the point that it wasn’t THAT easy of a catch when you take into account he had to reach back against his momentum , secure the catch, stay in bounds, and score.

I dont care who was drafted near him. It still doesn't change the fact that he is not worth a first. We have had to many JAGS drafted on defense within the 1st and second rounds that have done very little. I personally blame development . Cant be that every player we draft on the D-Line becomes this way.

Man you’re really digging yourself a credibility hole. Step away and look at this roster and the amount of home grown, developed talent.  Early and later draft picks, udfa’s, depth and role players that have bounced around the league a little…this regime is one of the best in the league.
100% hit rate? Of course not. But WAY better than most teams

There was a lot of missed penalty’s and the ball spots were atrocious first part of the game. Both sides got bad calls or no calls. Glad they apologized for the missed hold but that cannot be missed in a playoff game. If grandpa ref can’t see we’ll get younger refs.

I don’t remember a single poor spotting of the ball?  I’m pretty sure they’re getting assistance from above on that these days.

They said it before his leg injury. He wasn’t injured when they brought it up.

He brought it up before Week 5 2023?  That’s when he broke his leg and the last time he played.
Then came the ruptured bicep in training camp.
Not sure where the window of getting any kind of return in a trade would be.

Dude going into the draft this year trading him woulda landed significant capital.

Your all taking about now, I was way ahead of this.

Baltimore traded a second and a fifth for roquan.

No way in hell an injured Milano would have fetched anything more than maybe a 6th.  The Roquan comparison is way off— only similarity was position.

Milano has great instincts, but I want to point out Williams is a better tackler than Milano. Generally speaking when he gets hand on you, it is over. That Ravens game Williams is the only guy who tackles Henry to the ground one on one, a few times. Cover 1 guys has breakdown on that. Their point is Williams has long arms AND upper body strength to make him a great tackler.

of course instincts is a much more desirable attribute in any sports.

No way on earth Williams is a better tackler than Milano.  Milano is money when it comes to wrapping dudes up.
I kind of understood when we sucked how guys would bang the drum for the back-up to one of our average starters.  But now he have legit Pro Bowl and All Pro level guys and we still do it…crazy

Dorian has definitely been a stud. If we play the Ravens in the playoffs we're going to want all 3. Maybe they figure out a way to get them all on the field at the same time.

I like Dorian but if we are being honest he’s probably average at best compared to other starters in the league.

I’m sorry but you are wrong.

The Bills are 9-2. The Ravens are 8-4. That is a 1.5 game lead no matter what their head to head is.

And really the “half game” thing is only used when teams have played a different amount of games. Most commonly in baseball it seems.  We are now 1.5 games ahead of Baltimore.  If we lose Sunday we are 1 game ahead; if we win we will be 2 games ahead.
Tie breakers (which they currently have on us) aren’t expressed numerically.

SO what do you think his play percentage is? 100%? 85%? 75%? who do you think they are bringing in for him? not another slot cb thats for sure

Maybe I misunderstood you but I thought you were advocating for a 3 Linebacker set , taking the Nickel corner (T. Johnson) off the field?  Which the Bills have shown they are extremely reluctant to do.
KC game he played 100% of the snaps

I hated the pick-no not when he was drafted, but Sunday's interception.  While it didn't cost the Bills because of the time left on the clock, when will defenders learn not to intercept on 4th down & long.  If this was the middle of the game, he would have cost the Bills field position.  Just like on a Hail Mary, just knock the ball down.  Intercepting on 4th down & not gaining yardage is fundamentally unsound.

You’re of course not technically wrong, but you’re wasting your energy.  Stats like interceptions and sacks mean so much to these players individually.  They negotiate contracts based on them, and it even directly led to Bernard getting the DPOW award.
