The most noticeable thing right away was that when he was stopped he always found a way to fall forward and gain a couple extra yards.     So many extra yards gained after he was wrapped up, not sure how he did it at his size, but he never got pushed back.

The defense tho, looking STRONG.

 

LB was a weak spot, but with Edmunds flying around... and White in year 2, add in V. Davis and Star with the stud safeties.... suddenly the defense is looking stout AF.     Should be fun to watch.

I'm sold on Darnold... watched him play a few games his senior season at San Clemente.   

 

His command of the offense, confidence... all the intangibles are off the charts.   Reminds me a lot of Kelly, plays the position with a linebacker mentality, he's special.   He is light years better than Sears IMO.
