I might have missed it because I couldn't read every single post here, but has anyone addressed the fact that the accuser was later arrested in a massive crack cocaine distribution ring?

There's the expression usually referring to basketball, "you can't teach height". I have a real question, not rhetorical, can you fix stupid? I really don't know. You can teach an ignorant person, but can you change a stupid one? I'm not saying that what Oliver did was horrible, I'm saying it's stupid, given his financial situation, his very public status, his future. How hard is it to not drive with an open container? How hard is it to not have a handgun that might be illegal? Is it really that difficult for a player to not put himself in a position where he might get suspended by the league? Real question-is he stupid, and if so can that be fixed?
This question reminds me of the episode of the Last Dance that was focused on Dennis Rodman. Phil Jackson had a way of reaching Rodman and making the best of his stupidity.

Wild speculation and people saying how bad of a person they are. I member. Well everyone will be cheering for him again and totally forget about this once he is on the field, making plays because Pepridge Farms, with a side of member berries, members.
Seriously though let it play out.
Anyone else thinking of Marcel Darius a lot today?

He should be forced to read every message in this chat as one of his punishments. Maybe seeing how many fans he let down will wake him up.

So disappointing. Big let down from 91.

Ummmmmm Manish Mehta of NY Daily News is reporting Jets @ Bills week 1. WTF? Unless someone hijacked his blue check Twitter account.
-
Sounds good to me. We started with two on the road last season, so maybe we'll get SEA and Rams at home for week 1/2 (with limited fans). Then two away at Arizona and SF for week 3/4. By the time we return home for week 5, maybe it will be safe for full attendance again. #optimism.

I still BILLeve in E.J. Can't wait to see him thrive and prove doubters wrong.
-
Im more surprised they didnt nab a TE at some point. Manuel / Lewis have been given their chance, time to prove the doubters wrong.

Nothing new. ESPN will continue to overlook the Bills until the team starts to win. Then they will be everyones "dark horse" and broadcasters will act like they have had their eye on them all along. Been like this for a decade..

This logic is making my head hurt....

Bye bye SJ-13. I was never a fan but good luck in San Fran. I hope they have a high tolerance for all your B.S.

HERO... Bless Pat Tillman.
Talk about sacrifice. I have no words to describe the balls it takes to walk away from professional sports to volunteer and fight for your country... and die doing so.

You kids and your Tweeter and your Slash Tags get off my lawn!!!!! Stop changing the way the world is!

I am not a traditional Bills fan. I am a football fan probably ahead of the Bills. I love football but only ever watch it fully when it is the Bills.
Bills mafia's origins were so ridiculous its not even funny. Some kids on Twitter replying to Adam Schefter or some guy from ESPN about a tweet he posted two or three days after the actual event. I don't remember the event but it just reeks of Bills fans feeling weak and bad about themselves. We are not going to make major headlines for every minor detail and who cares if Schefter does not pay attention to us. Do we all get mad when the pretty girl across the room doesn't make eyes with us at the dance and then grumble about it?
It's fun to be at sporting events with fans of all kinds but it is silly to think that some Twitter group is any more then a specific genre of every teams fans - that every team has, that every team loves. In the radio industry and to marketing those are called P1's. They're the ones you can sell the biggest loads of Bills merch to as long as it has a #hashtag or is lel/edgy.
I'm just as much down for good old fashioned trolling and foolishness but Twitter is as lame as it gets. It's right up there with ebaums world, 9gag and reddit. There isn't much original stuff and just a bunch of grandiose chest thumping trying to one up each other for the lel. It's quite annoying, actually.
edit: holy moly, I actually just listened to about 30 seconds of it getting little bit by bit.
It's cool. We'll root our way, you root yours. Either way we are supporting the same cause. If you listen to country music or rap music, wear a throwback jersey or a Kiko jersey, Im still gonna give you a high 5 and shout GO BILLS!!! One big family.

I agree
+1. Not sure why they'd tinker with the timing of draft but I guess if NFL had no problems moving Super Bowl into February, moving draft back 2 weeks isn't a big deal to them.
Agreed. All the mock draft chatter has just turned into white noise and I've tuned it out because the draft seems so far away. The NFL dropped the ball on this one.

Why are "traditional" Bills fans $h'tt'ng on a different way of supporting the same team (#billsmafia)??? The internet sucks sometimes man... We are all in the same boat and have the same intentions.
I can't stand this idea of trying to make a theme. Not one bit about it is fun. The shout song works because it is so silly and lame it is ironic and you end up loving it
Here's ti hoping none of this nonsense sticks. BillsMafia doesn't strike the ear well. And its juvenile in its trolling. But it has come a long way and is something that is fun for many people.

I think the #BillsMafia thing is awesome. Not sure what it is exactly, seems like a social media oriented group of fans. It's good for the team.
This pretty much sums #billsmafia up. It keeps the team trending on Twitter and social media. Modern way of creating a fan club.

I like it! I'll rep #billsmafia

Besides, how many years does it take a RB to "break out" and become a solid starter? Guy's been in the NFL 4 seasons now and couldn't get the starting gig until FJ was hurt.
My thoughts exactly. Maybe it's time to take him for what he is, a solid number 2 back that has potential for a big play once in a while.

100% agree. Just like watching NY Knicks commentary on MSG Network.
