Each were 3rd rounders and neither is better than a 2 in this league. Watch some film on Harris if you havent. He is a beast like Henry.
Harris is a beast. I’m sure he’ll be a good player in the league. I just think it wouldn’t be a smart idea to draft another running back when we can’t run block. They need to upgrade the trenches as that’s where the game is won.

That would be an awful pick especially since they drafted RBs the last 2 years. It’s not a smart investment

Anyone still want this guy over Allen?
Yes lol

While he is a fan favorite I’m not sure he’ll return. During his press conference Beane specifically mentioned getting more athletic upfront. Athleticism is not Mongo’s strength. He’s more of a win with power guy. I could see Beane offering him a 1 year deal similar to McKenzie last year. (Obviously at a way higher rate)

100 years of football and championships are still won in the trenches. The formula will never change.
The most accurate post in the history of this board.

Draft with no trades.
30. Samuel Cosmi OT Texas
62. Rashad Weaver EDGE Pitt
93. Jordan Smith EDGE UAB
147. Darius Stills DT West Virginia
160. Trey Hill OC Georgia
191. Tre Norwood CB Oklahoma
201. Marlon Williams WR UCF
Thought process-
1st round- Williams replacement( I don't see him getting resigned)
2nd,3rd and 4th round- Beane will continue to improve Dline.
5th round- Starting center material, if he is good enough Morse gets traded during camp.
6th round- gotta get 1 db at least, right?
7th round- wr, why not?
Love this draft.

Improving the trenches through the draft is a good idea.
Agreed. The Bills have only drafted 2 offensive linemen in the 1st round in the last 30 years.
-
Spending any pick in the top 5 rounds on a rb after doing so 2 straight years is irresponsible. They need to upgrade the oline. It’s that simple. The line played well at times but at the end of the day we need to upgrade the guards. I would love to have the Colts o line.

Dorsey is the smart move. For Josh to continue to develop it would be smart to keep the same system
-
You want to give up a 1st for a RB coming off an acl tear and 1 year left on his rookie deal? Count me out on that..I wouldn’t mind Ertz. He’d help take the offense to a new level

According to this article Pegula really wanted Mahomes. I love Josh but reading this made me really sad.

Are their any Erhardt/Perkins OC's around with terrible track records?
I root for Daboll but worrying about losing him after his struggles to distinguish himself at his numerous previous NFL OC jobs(and here until now) is really going out of your way to find something to worry about.
There is a very good chance that his departure(which I don't necessarily believe is imminent) could lead to the hiring of a naturally better OC..........the way Charlie Weis leaving for Notre Dame lead to the Pats promoting Josh McDaniels and really elevating their game offensively.
If nothing else there won't be a shortage of candidates and having a stable HC and front office and a winning franchise with a young QB should give the team a very good choice of candidates.
Mike Shula is a Erhardt/Perkins guy. Dorsey was his QB coach in Carolina. I would think they would promote Dorsey and then bring in a former OC as QB coach. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rob Chudzinski hired as QB coach

His ultimate comparison is Big Ben.

This was all Belichick. They are tanking for a chance at Lawrence.

2 words: Davis Webb

Don’t count out Davis Webb. He’s a former 3rd round pick who has talent. Just needs a chance in my opinion

I’m worried About the Pats tanking for Lawrence

The NFL needs to investigate tampering. You know they had a deal in place probably days ago. Patriots never stop cheating.
Unfortunately I believe this was in place months ago.

I generally agree with you. I think they “out-everything” the entire league.
I don’t discount spy gate though. Not necessarily because of when they did it, but because the effects are so long lasting and career altering.
Brady knowing the signals, calls, plays, and most importantly, keeping his helmet mic on, are the worlds greatest tutor when it comes to learning the game in the NFL. He got them all in live action. You can’t discount it in terms of his current ability to see the field.
Would Tom have been great with out it? Sure, probably. Would he be the GOAT and play at such a high level mentally into his 40’s, like he is now? Unsure. At best it’s worth the conversation. At worst, Brady would have had a Rogers, Romo, Rivers, Manning, type career without that “tutoring” and “mentorship” during his early stages of his career.
Couldn’t have said it better

Forget free agency. The first thing they need to do is find a new o line coach. There is absolutely no running game and guys are still confused on simple stunts. Castillo needs to go the minute the last game is over

Yeah I wouldn’t mind a running back with speed as long as they didn’t draft him before the 8th or 9th round
