Clayton has never played a single down of organized football at any level. Heavens. Watch his work out though, OMG! Line THAT dude up at WR, no one will cover him!
He needs to be the new short yardage back instead of Allen taking punishment. Lol

I know Ralph is from Detroit, but it kinda stung to see his niece announce Detroit's 4th with a "Go Lions" with his name on the screen. She also worked for the Bills for like 20 years.
I’m amazed more posters didn’t catch any of that

I fully expect the Franklin suckoff fest to continue until some other team finally drafts him and puts dozens of posters here out of their misery. In fact I’d bet my house on it, especially since comments already in this thread show it just won’t stop. Definitely one of the more bizarre things I’ve seen on here. And that’s saying something.

First three rounds are for starters.
Three picks, one offensive player.
We never learn.

Yeah, something is up. No one is even mentioning Franklin. It's REALLY odd.
Every poster here is mentioning him

The Franklin fetish going on with this board is hilarious.

The NFL cared so much about teams not having alternate helmets until just a few weeks ago and now we see why. A lot of players helmets will just be covered up now, so the league being nit-picky about teams having alternate logo helmets no longer seems so important.

I think McD is itching to pick Defense.
Of course he is. People are going to be sorely disappointed when we don’t take a WR at 60. At ain’t happening.

I feel like RB could be our next pick
That would be Billsy. I definitely don’t agree with those that think we will double dip and pick WR right away again. I’m guessing pick 60 is going to be defense.

I don't think we trade down.
Patriots are picking right behind us, and they are likely going WR. So anyone willing to trade with us will also likely want a WR. That means 2 WRs taken before our pick.
We are taking Franklin / McConkey / Coleman to start Day 2 imo.
Just seems like if Beane was really frightened of someone taking a WR he coveted, he would have made the choice at 28 or 32. I think Beane values collecting additional picks still more than picking a certain WR at 33.

Congrats to the 36 of you who correctly predicted a move back!
Lol and then a few people piled on after the first round was already over and tried to look smart adding their late vote not realizing it would be time stamped.

Beane has already shown his hand of his plan for this years draft and that is to collect more picks and to upgrade the later round picks he already had. Having the #33 pick, which is traditionally always a very very sought after pick, as the first pick of round 2, I would be utterly amazed that his plan isn’t to trade back from #33 as well and continue adding picks.

I think there is almost no chance the Bills actually make a selection at #33. Fully plan on seeing Beane trade back once again and pick up an additional pick.

Troy Franklin the pick tomrrow or do they go DeJean.
If Buffalo loved Franklin that much, why wouldn’t they just take him at 32 and get the fifth year option instead of taking him at 33? Doesn’t make sense. I don’t think Buffalo is done trading down yet. They will do at least one more trade down from 33 if in fact they are taking a WR. So I think it would definitely be for any other position than WR if they do make a pick at 33.

Come on Tyreek, wouldn’t have been SO much easier just to get snipped?

I’m not sure what the previous poster was trying to say.

RIP 2019--2023 run.
It's been more fun than the 1989-1993 run.
Better team? No. But more fun.
And Allen is still 3 years younger than when Kelly got to his first SB.
Yep. Tread water in 2024, fix the cap and get back on with the business of trying to win championships in 2025 onward. This is all necessary.

Damn. Im surprised. Why is Beane messing around with the O-Line?
Cap reset. It has to be done to move forward in 2025 and beyond. 2024 won’t be a Super Bowl team but fixing the cap now increases the chances the teams from 2025 onward can actually compete for a championship.

This thread should be merged with the brilliant thread from a few weeks ago on this very subject and how there was NO way the Bills would release him. Forget who started that one.
Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
in The Stadium Wall
Posted · Edited by Billznut
For the past 4-5 seasons, the Bills have had 3-5 blowout wins per season, occasionally more. I think considering the schedule and the 2024 roster compared to past years, I don’t see the Bills with a lot of blowout wins. Expect alot more close games this year and hope we can win more than we lose. Like others, I’m expecting somewhere between 8-11 wins, and we need to be extremely healthy to achieve 10-11 wins, which we have not been fortunate in that regard the past few seasons.
