I think they ruled that Dickson’s foot was on the line of scrimmage when he kicked. Regardless, it would be nice if Perrera knew the rules because he said it was illegal to kick it twice. If the first kick doesn’t go past the LOS and the kicker is still behind the LOS, then you can kick it twice.

I have no idea what should have been called there and neither did the refs.

Some serious amnesia around here. Jags made AFC title game under Marrone (2018?) and beat a certain team from WNY to get there. Kyle Williams only playoff game.

Under Tom Coughlin they went to the AFC title game beating our glory era Bills and Elway era Broncos along the way. Tony Boselli owned Bruce Smith in that game.

I was stationed in the small town of Eureka, CA in '96. Got to know the owners of the only sports bar and as can be expected I was the only Bills fan around.  A couple months after we lost in the playoffs, the owner "gifted" me this. Still on my Bills shelf all these years later. MIss that guy and his wife, they were top shelf even if they were Raiders fans.

A great quote...I also remember the great t-shirt that some fans printed up during the second season.  It said "Go for )" with a picture of a sinking pirate ship.  Well, look at that....It's amazing what one can find on the interweb:  Tampa Tee

My brother was 10 when the Bucs were founded and he has been a fan since day one. He never flinched over all those terrible years. I lovingly gave him crap for a long time. Now his team has two Lombardis. I lost the high ground.

Oh, of course I did send him a copy of that T-shirt anyway.

Along with Cal, Oregon, Alabama, and Stanford, Purdue is the only school with three good-to-excellent QBs since 1960 (see my post above for details). That said, after the 1960s, Purdue seems to go about 15-20 years between good NFL prospects. They haven't had one since Brees, although Orton could actually play in the league. He wasn't great, but he was physically capable and could operate an NFL offense. But really, he's a Steve DeBerg-type QB -- good enough to get a coach fired. My own advice about QBs is to NEVER assume a school is a predictor of anything. To reiterate a point I've made numerous times, it was assumed up until 2001 that Michigan QBs would never be great and would most likely be terrible.

I would say Louisville has three, Johnny Unitas, Lamar Jackson and Teddy Bridgewater.
