Best part of this news to me is it shores up our secondary. Assuming Bentford stays at CB are Top 4 there are set as well as our top 2 safeties.

You can always tell the “I only want big name people” posters when they make posts saying “never heard of him I don’t get it I hate this signing.”I like the addition to the offense. I think we found out last year McKenzie isn’t the speed answer this team needs and I think this signing at least gives us a new option.

Leave it to this place to turn what should just be a nice thread about McDermott's character into his abilities as a football coach. Some of you are way too serious about this stuff. Leave threads like this about the human aspect of McDermott, not what goes on during the game. That wasn't the intention of this thread.

If I can get Hunter Renfrow from the Raiders I make the move. I’m not sure if you could fit him under the cap but that would be my choice at WR, and drafting one in the first 2 rounds. The WR FA class is kind of butt though I might try to bring someone in on a one year deal.
Everyone has already brought up the O-line issues and I agree with all of that.
Mid season I switched to re-signing Edmunds and letting Poyer walk and I am still there. I thought Hamlin was playing well enough before his scare but who knows what his future holds. Either way I’m moving on from Poyer even if I can’t re-sign Edmunds.
The RB FA class is deep. If you aren’t bringing back Singletary, I’d go after Alexander Mattison. I’d also look at Mostert to try and pry him from Miami.Id look at depth for CB after White/Elam/Johnson, assuming they move Brentford to safety. Better depth at LB too but outside of re-signing Edmunds I wouldn’t make any major defensive moves via trade or free agency.

Jacksonville should really play loose and as a team with nothing to lose. No one expects them to win. Bust out every crazy play you have in your playbook Throw in a fake punt. Just go for broke.

We scored 31 and had an off game. That's a plus in my book. Need the offense to get right against a bad Lions team. Would also like a bit more from the pass rush. Can't leave our DBs with jump balls apparently.
