Have we ever actually had a scheduled SNF game during the drought? Or have they always been flexed?

Poyer has a 4 year deal with us.

Chargers didn't make it

There was no Facebook or YouTube.

IIRC Johnson had a good game. Who knew that the forward lateral was legal on that particular day.
Johnson did not have a good game. He was 10/22 131 yards 0 TDs. Sacked 6 times and was safetied once.

Flutie sucked in every playoff game he played.
Johnson played great and if not for that miracle....
And now you want to give Flutie a Super Bowl? I would have settled for one playoff game where he didn’t suck out here and lose.
You clearly do not remember the game. Johnson was horrid in that game. He was something like 10 of 25 for 100 yards and was Jevon Kearses ragdoll all game.

What's Kelvin Sheppard up to lately? Man, what a theft that trade was.
He was cut from the Bears during camp

Odell Beckham doesn't make that catch... Tyrod made an awful throw

It was a Sunday game if I recall, and a concern if the Broncos could get in on time. It was crappy and wet here, and the Broncos and TD pulled out a close one, but not all that low scoring. The helmets in the video are the giveaway that was the anniversary season and teams were wearing throwbacks ( broncos unis and Bills helmets were awful) and the patches on the jerseys.
That was the game where Christie nailed that ridiculous 55 yarder into the wind at the end of regulation.

They just got better with Boldin retiring. He's been bad for a few years minus some fluke TDs last year.
Just what a typical Bills fan in denial says

Don't forget Brady's good buddy Walt Coleman
Believe it or not, the Bills have a winning record when Walt Coleman officiates.

Jim Kelly comes up a lot with friends who don't like the bills. Big woop, he got hammered as the pathetic AFC rep 4 times. They wouldn't have made the playoffs if they were in the NFC. I disagree, of course...
The Bills were something like 14-2 against the NFC during the Super Bowl run and I think both losses were meaningless games at the end of the season. I think they would've easily made the playoffs in the NFC.

Barry Sanders was the most elusive RB I've ever seen. Look what he did while being on terrible teams with no QB. He might be the best ever but we will never know because they didn't have free agency back then and he was stuck in Detroit so he decided to retire in his prime rather than continue playing for a bad team
Full free agency started in 1993. Barry played until 1998. So yes they had free agency back then. He also signed a huge contract extension in 1997 to stay there.

Ray Lewis not in the top 5 isn't good. Derrick Thomas was good, but he didn't help his team win a SB. What Lewis did in Baltimore with Ed Reed in 2000 was amazing.
Nothing against Gil. The man knows his stuff and those lists have got to be hard to make. Ray Lewis is the best MLB to play in the last 25 years.
Ed Reed wasn't in the league in 2000

Eric Moulds made Ty Law his B word in that game.

I don't think that there's any question that Clay is a better TE.

I like this thread....I'd take Antoine Winfield......I feel that he had better cover skills than both.....He wasn't going to get the picks that the other two would get but he was better lock down defender.....Heck, I might even take an in his prime Thomas Smith over Gilmore and Clements..........I'd take Clements over Gilmore....Gilmore had more bad games.
I always thought Smith was underrated. He had the worst hands so his interceptions stats were always awful, but I think as far as pure coverage goes, he's as good as anyone we've had over the past 25 years.

That was my usual go to message board for the Bills until this morning, now I will be here!
