A center could make sense and shock the world.

If the Bills wanted Defensive flexibility and disguisabilty, a LB with 4.44 speed and coverage ability wouldn’t be a terrible way to go.

Milano is on the wrong side of 30, wrong side of the dead cap scale, and often on the wrong side of the injury report.

    He's not even 30...

I was 16 and in a room full of Giant’s fans. I was never a huge fan of Jim Kelly. I didn’t trust him at all in any game. I wasn’t one of the “bench Kelly for Reich” guys but I wouldn’t have been too upset if it happened. Sometimes he would come out and throw 3 interceptions right away in the 1st quarter. When he was bad, he was really bad.

The AFC was incredibly bad back then so it was no surprise that most of them were so lopsided. I think they lost about a dozen SB’s in a row during that period. It pissed me off that Denver was the team to finally win one.

I thought we had a chance against the Redskins but nope. The Redskins really had an incredible season that year. Maybe the most dominant I’ve ever seen.

The AFC was bad overall compared to the NFC, but don't forget the Bills were 14-2 against the NFC during the Super Bowl years and both losses were in meaningless week 17 games where a lot of starters rested.

    Marcus Aurelius  remembers  ...

Richie Lucas who was a first round pick in both the 1960 NFL draft and the 1960 American Football League draft. Lucas signed with the Buffalo Bills of the newly-formed AFL, making him officially the BILLS first player!

Was there also an NFL referee with a very similar name?  When I first saw the title of this thread ,I assume it was about an official dying.

    Appreciate you checking.

We’re starting to see that Allen is already at the Andrew Luck level, a guy people are already pushing for the HOF.

Allen keeps this up for 10 years and he will be remembered the way Hasek is in the NHL. Known as a great goalie during his time, but only appreciated as one of the GOATs after his career ended and people became gobsmacked after looking at his stats.

I must have a different memory than you but many thought Hasek was the GOAT while he played.
