Jimmy G will be a UFA next season. If Brady plans on continuing to play no way will he return to the Pats. And no way will the pats franchise him. This guy is hitting the open market next season.
If NE* is convinced Jimmy G is a franchise QB it would be foolish to let him walk and go with Brady who will turn 41 next Aug.
I would try to trade Brady after this season if he still wanted to play.

If Matthews and Gaines are both healthy and good starters I'd be ok with the trades. Having Boldin for a year or two makes a difference also.
I guess Darby was more man coverage and Gaines more zone like McD wants ?
Still without Gilmore and Darby looks risky for now.

So far 2017 QB class looks good. Trubisky , Mahomes, Watson and Kizer. I just hope McD knew what he was doing in that draft.

I can agree with that . That is why I supported Kasich who is bipartisan who could have had a chance to get something done.

Different regime. The one in place now is good - and better than the one the Bills have. Jordan Matthews is a semi-rich man's David Nelson. He is not good, but as I say above, someone has to catch the passes, and since Nelson Aguilar can't catch, Matthews is the beneficiary by default.
