  1. He feels like he didn't get a chance to prove himself last year and just wants a chance to get the pads on and earn a spot. They signed Felton and the Terminator and released Knox before camp even started. I don't think he's going to get a shot now that we have Gronk too. Maybe another team will see that and give him a call but all of the tryouts are done for this year so it's going to be hard at this point unless someone gets hurt

  2. I wonder the timeline will look if the en banc is denied. Say that happens around June 21st, how long does he have to attempt to get things push forwarded to the SC? How long does the SC take to issue a decision on that appeal? Could he realistically play this season even if he loses every step of the way in the judicial system?

I just read something that said he could play out all of 2016 of this is pending. I'm no legal expert but I thought there was no way around his 2016 suspension. Now they are saying he very well could play in 2016 no matter the outcome? Wtf??

  3. Agents help talk these guys up prior to the draft. They get them featured on TV and get them endorsements and basically get their name out there. Could you do it on your own? Maybe but shouldn't you be focused on training and interviewing? It seems to have worked out ok for Brisset as he got picked in the 3rd round but now he's trying to learn a super complex playbook and negotiate a contract. Seems like a lot to handle for a 23 yr old

  4. It's amazing how prevalent this type of thinking is. People make overly simplistic and clichéd assumptions and if you can't understand how "things work", well, they can't help you.

Next we will hear about the future unavoidable and evil combo of Vegas, gamblers, the NFLPA, Ted Olson and the Supreme Court Justices. I mean...right?

If you want to ignore the obvious and live in a world of rainbows and butterflies then you're right, I can't help you. People will believe what they want to believe and when you point out the most basic obvious answer then it's over simplified and clichéd apparently.
  5. Those throws are ridiculous. Boykin is going to be a good backup. Wish we got him.

Listenbee needs a ton of work on route running. Hes leaning and telegraphing where he's going. He got by on pure speed. He showed good body control on some of those catches though so that's a good sign that he understands how to use his body to box out the defender. If he could watch Sammy's footwork and learn how to be a complete receiver he might be a good one. (Sammy vs Revis on that 3rd and short was absolutely bonkers)

  6. It seems like it right? Except I thought they won some kind of award recently? I dunno, this is all very disappointing

I think you are thinking of the training staff. I think they won some award but I don't think that includes the team physicians but I could be wrong. Very discouraging though. We seem to be the only team that didn't know he needed surgery. No wonder he dropped

  7. I'm sorry, but this makes no sense.

You do not know what Cardale will do in the future--you don't.

I also fail to see how a guy with 0 wins and 12 TDs/14 INTs in 10 career starts is the model of "what a QB looks like".

I think there's ability there, and he hasn't bombed out yet (which puts him ahead of EJ IMO), but let's not go the silly route.

People that study the game know what a QB looks like. Ohio States 3rd string QB is nowhere even in the realm of Zach Mettenberg. Maybe the plan is in 3-4 years he might be but he's not even close right now. And you are correct, Mettenberg is better than EJ.
