So who knows something about Rugby? What positions are there? Do they have players like OL or more like WR/TE??
has he shown good rugby ball catching skills? Or maybe great tackling?
or did we just draft him bc he is big and can move?
What position are they thinking
-
Obviously it’s a no. Most teams, including our team, play 3 or 4 WRs 95% of the time. We don’t have 4 NFL worthy starters. And what if one is hurt? Which is inevitable. We needed another in the draft and another Vet I think.
Franklin Corley Wilson were there for the taking. They are good players and worth the picks.

9.85 RAS at 6'5" and 306 pounds. He looks like he has some position versatility. I approve for this late in the draft
wtf is an RAS

The more YouTube vids I see of Coleman, the better he is loooking. I was a little too quick to judge at first. He is faster and smoother than I remembered. Still a project guy tho

So I looked it up.
Before the draft started:
pff had Franklin #29
46 on CBS Sports
76 by Daniel Jeremiah (some NFLn) guy.
Kipers board is behind the paywall if someone has access.

It is weird that he’s available, and on no one’s “best available “ lists. What gives?? He was definitely a top 100 player

James hardy 2.0
so much worse than Legette, not worth the trade at all.
why not mcconkey? He looks great. Excellent fit for our offense.
or there’s a lot of good D guys.
ugh

I’ve been saying defense is nearly irrelevant these days and this draft is proving it

It’s just a hunch but I think McCarthy is this year’s guy who’ll be sitting (head in hands) in the green room all night long on Thursday.
Granted I’ve only see him play a few quarters, but I shocked he’s not a round 6 flyer. Michigan refused to let him throw. And he runs like a middle schooler wearing his big brothers shoes and ankle weights.

I usually yell “HEY-eh-EH-eh”
or however the F you’d spell that.

Jj McCarthy as anything more than a late round pick is the real head scratcher in this draft.

This Bills team has always modeled our O after the Brady Cheatriots O of yesteryear. Meaning : smaller shiftier speedier WRs, not really one stud. Average joe types like the lacrosse player Chris Hogan we had for a few years.
I personally disagree that this philosophy is the best way to build around Allen. Allen is a much different QB than Brady. Allen like to hold the ball and take deep shots. Brady couldn’t throw it fast enough.
therefore I’d wet my pants if we could Make a Jefferson Trade, that type of big physical jump ball receiver is the type we need. A Mike Evans type pairs much better with Allen’s game. I personally love Legette in this draft to be that type of player. just don’t see it happening
what I do see happening is us drafting guys like Roman Wilson or that McDonkey fella. And if we do draft WRs this year I really hope we don’t trade up. I’d rather take multiple WRs with multiple picks.

So wait - the Bills still have to eat 31 mil in dead cap with the Diggs trade!? I figured Houston would take on his salary. I guess that’s how I thought it worked

way too many injuries from hip drop tackles
reckless and dangerous....just like a horse collar tackle
will it be hard to apply with consistency from ref to ref....yes, just like lots of other rules
Can anyone name two players injured by the horse collar tackle?
1: Terrell Ownens
2: ???!!!!??!?!?!

This will not impact the game that much because there are not a lot of players who hip drop tackle regularly.. again it's kind of a poor technique thing
If a player gets past you, diving for their ankles or grabbing a leg has been the way for a hundred years... Grabbing them and dropping your entire body weight onto their lower body has not been the technique and is very dangerous
That's not and has never been a good tackle.. always been semi dirty
The same way they did for a hundred years
You dive and grab there ankles or legs... You ankle pick them
Grabbing them from the back.. and using your leverage to drop down on them and take them down by snapping their legs is never been the way to tackle
I don’t know any football coach that teaches diving at ankles. I know many that teach hit with the shoulder and wrap up with both arms.

sign him and trade a late round pick for another DT that's capable
would love to sign Calais Campbell for a year if he wants to come here. We had a visit scheduled with him before he signed in ATL last year.
Dude is 37 and still had 6.5 sacks last season playing all 17 games
Dang I’m getting old, I remember wanting to draft Calais Campbell

This all stems from the league thinking they need brand new stadiums every 20 years.
Arrowhead is a classic stadium. Just keep it
-
So why would the chargers be wanting to ditch these guys? There was a time each was the best pass rusher in the league. Are they over the hill like Von now?
-
Seems to me that for a team with cap issues, and late round rookie would be backup!!?
-
Welp, he hits as if hitting is still legal. Many a flags be flyin

Roman Wilson is the type of WR our staff loves to pair with Allen. Not that I agree, but I never stayed at a holiday inn last night either.
lots of players to love on that list. Is wish McCaffrey was on it

Why not have a rule that your kicker can’t kick it? Make it be any starting defensive player has to do the kickoffs.
Why? Because if we are trying to make a ***** sandwich, let’s give it our best effort

Herbert makes sense bc of his coach

Need to hit on these draft picks better.
it usually seems like Beane is doing well, but other teams are doing better and it’s a big reason why we can’t make the SB.

One of these days, Beane will have to hit on one of his DL draft picks. Right??? RIGHT!?!?!?
