1. I'll stand by my thoughts that Edwards will be a star. He'll be the Bills QB, going to multiple Pro Bowls for many years long after Brett Favre has retired.

I don't understand where fans are coming up with this Trent is Great stuff. What has he really done so far, and what amazing attributes does he possess. Additionally looks at his college career, it was mediocre at best. Trent was injured often and hardly ever played. <_<

BTW: Does anybody know details of the statement he made before Browns game. Apparently he complained that he should have gone before many other QB's in the draft. If true, wow, I think Trent may needs a reality check, and needs some humble pie. IMHO

  2. please give us the throwbacks next year!

    862446

Throwbacks are definetely the best but if you watch some old games, you will see how goofy the other colors looked.... it's hard to say it.

Dark blue pants and shirts are the best right now though, great look, when all dark blue... better football colors than the lighter shiny blue...

  3. Oh come-on now, your getting us confused ??

LT=Photoelectric light energy= Einstein= TT on crack=Crackhead chewed by gator in swamp??

Just kick his freakin ass sunday and the world of Bills football will be clear!!!

    WE NEED A WIN BABY!!

Can't wait for sunday ....go BILLS!

    853592

Now you got it.... think in code... it's all a riddle..

    LT = TT+crack

    or

    LT-crack = TT

    or

(LT+crack) + (LT*cocaine) = Giants getting ass kicked by Dallas

  4. thanks for your wonderfully insightful comments, you are a true philosopher and possess much wisdom.

    now stfu.

don't you hate that over the top crap.... "only thing that counts is the trophy" ... i think the journey there is freakin' great... i guess 90-93 doesn't count then... ask the steelers how much last years trophy means right now... why bother watching week to week if the super bowl is all that counts... watching your defense pop off heads is pretty cool to...

GO BILLS... field goal to win it...

  5. Yep, I made sure Section 119 was rocking last week, and will make sure it does again this week. Bills fans still have the passion, maybe just not as many. Hopefully, a couple years from now, we will be able to look back at this period and realize that we saw the embryonic stages of a pernennial powerhouse being built

    853538

I heard 2 penalties came directly due to crowd noise, I believe they were back to back... this can do some real damage... especially this week when the Chargers will have cold ear drums... and there golden tans and extremities will be frost bitten and infested with gang green....

not that I hoping for that... I love a fair game....

    :)

  6. I always wondered what it would feel like to play against a prime Thurman Thomas.... but only this time on "crack".... is there anything this guy can't do....

... but seriously what is the best way to stop him...

... I have the prayer part covered...

... my tongue is firmly in cheek, for any blow hards...

    :-)

BTW: at least we don't have to watch, if it's bad....

... at the end of the day GO BILLS... because it's the right thing to do....

  7. Replying to I missed most of the Houston game. Did Youboty

    844325

Here are his stats from last game....

In 36 games at Ohio State, Youboty started 22 times. He was in on 131 tackles (103 solos) with two sacks for minus 8 yards and nine stops for losses of 22 yards. He recovered a fumble and blocked one kick while deflecting 23 passes. He gained 79 yards on five interception returns and also had a 2-yard punt return.

    ;)

  8. From this article on the front page.

That's a rookie, in his first live NFL regular season action, in case anyone forgot.

I love Marv telling the media to wait and see which pick pans out better. He handles the media great, especially as a GM. This organization good be really good, really soon.

There is alot of wisdom and experience up top now.

Playoffs would be a great motivator for next year, and not bad for the 4 youngest team in the league. Only '2' players over 30, and one out for the season.

  9. Sorry...the prospect of a potentially poor passing defense will cause Clements to drop most of the running plays from the playbook...

    26

    506223

According to what I read today, Clements isn't calling the plays any longer. MM has been calling them for the last 5 games.

Hopefully footballs will fill the air in SD on Sunday.

  10. When a reporter asked him about the move to LG from RT, Mike Williams had an interesting response. He only commented about the possible negative affect on HIS career. In the ultimate TEAM sport, this is a little self-centered.

I know we all have to get paid, but c'mon let's talk what's best for the team. He just finds out he ahas been demoted.... GET MAD or something, don't give us this CAREER crap..... I agree that he needs a HEART transplant.

He is on the slippery slope.

    <_<

  11. .... Why would you want to kick a poor guy when he's down?  Is there no end to how low some folks will stoop to break the will and self esteem of a fellow human being?

    504766

    That is awesome....

Read the comments for each ranking, they are good....

For example here is an excerpt (sp) ....

....Earlier in the season, when Denver was way down in the rankings despite just one loss, I counseled angry Denver fans to have patience. If the Broncos really were as good as people thought, eventually their first-week loss to Miami and second-week narrow victory over San Diego would become less important in our formula. Denver got even stronger, clobbering Philadelphia and Oakland to show that the first week was, in fact, a fluke, and now look where we are: Thanks to the wacko Indianapolis schedule effect, Denver sits at numero uno. NEXT: vs. NYJ

    Here's another beauty....

    Excerprt from http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5087100

Shaun Alexander runs for 165 yards and THREE TOUCHDOWNS and doesn't make your list of the top five most valuable running backs for Sunday? You are a complete jackass. Signed, Rod.

Dear Rod: Remember that the ratings in the Quick Reads column every Monday, like the power rankings, include an adjustment for the strength of the opponent. The Rams have a bad defense, so Alexander ended up seventh. Signed, Johnny Knoxville. NEXT: at SF

This guy really does have some good poiints. Like Indy's strength of schedule up until now.... Look at the rest of their schedule...

    11 Sun. Nov 20 @ Bengals 4:15 p.m. ET

    12 Mon. Nov 28 Steelers 9:00 p.m. ET

    13 Sun. Dec 4 Titans 1:00 p.m. ET

    14 Sun. Dec 11 @ Jaguars 1:00 p.m. ET

    15 Sun. Dec 18 Chargers 1:00 p.m. ET

    16 Sat. Dec 24 @ Seahawks 4:15 p.m. ET

    17 Sun. Jan 1 Cardinals 1:00 p.m. ET

    He comment about FALCONS....

Fantasy football warning: Atlanta faces the league's hardest schedule of opposing defenses over the last seven weeks. Cleveland is second, Green Bay third. NEXT: vs. TB. Believe it or not, this is the first time all year where Atlanta faces a team that comes into the game with a winning record.

Here are the FALCONS next games.....

11 Sun. Nov 20 Buccaneers 1:00 p.m. ET NFL on FOX

    12 Thur. Nov 24 @ Lions 12:30 p.m. ET NFL on FOX

17 Sun. Jan 1 Panthers 1:00 p.m. ET NFL on FOX

Here are the top 10 defenses....

NFL SORTABLE STATS, TEAM defense -- Yards

Rk Team YDS YPG RUSH YDS RUSH YPG PASS YDS PASS YPG PTS PTS/GM

    1 Bears

    2 Buccaneers

    3 Ravens

    4 Colts

    5 Jaguars

    6 Cowboys

    7 Redskins

    8 Panthers

    9 Steelers

    10 Packers

They have to face Bucs(#2 defense) and Panthers(#8 defense) twice and Bears(#1 defense). Saints rank 12th and Lions 14th....

This stuff may be pretty accurate in the end... it just seems far fetched now.

In fact based on this formula, if we win out, we would be way up there....

Look at BILLS remaining schedule strength....

    11 Sun. Nov 20 @ Chargers 4:15 p.m. ET

JP will be tested big time the final half of the year, and it should give us a good feel for next year.

    What a name though....

    Aaron Schatz ...

  12. There have been different stories. But I heard McNabb say that it was a back should pass, which can be very effective.

I just wonder on the timing of a 5-10 yard pass to the sideline from that angle, very risky. He knows better.

IMO: That block on McNabb didn't look that bad. He MUST be really hurtin' with that "sports" hernia. He was holding the jewels for several minutes. MAN, made my teeth hurt.
